Glad to see twine and pebble will be able to work together, since I am part of both kickstarters.

Awesome! Already backed these projects. Can we customize some of the application for this purpose?

Glad you all like the news! If you missed the Pebble Kickstarter, occasionally new slots open up there, so check back regularly on their page; they'll also be doing a general pre-order soon. Magnus, this is the magic of the cloud - when triggered, Twine's output server (we call it Crier) sends the message to Pebble's notification server, which relays the message to your Pebble using the default app. Once the smoke clears, we'll be looking at adding more stuff - this is just a taste...

@Rh S, Yes. That is how the Pebble works, but I was hoping for a little more detail. How was it set up, which app(s) is requred, and so on...

Wow, I finally decided to get a Pebble about 24 hours before they sold out. Their BT4.0 and iPhone support finally wore me down. Twines and Pebbles together makes for an interesting combination!
Sounds like you guys might need some Twines and cameras for security?! Keep plugging along; Twine is well worth waiting for!

Whoa, this is so meta - I'm a backer with the Pebble too!

Um, yes. Very cool! But when I went to sign up for a pebble, they had already closed the doors on me! (I must've caught it right at the moment of shut down. One day my kickstarter page said "pledge," the very next day, nope.) Bummer. Will ifttt.com be able to interface with Twine?

That is awesome, how about one to control Romo next? :)

@Magnus If I understand it correctly, Pebble will still need to be connected to your smartphone (and use its internet connection) in order for this to work with the API.

Excellent! But from where does Pebble get the message?

I am a bit bummed that I was unable to get in on the Pebble. :(
