I just finished recording my first official single and during that time I realized how much it was going to cost me to finish the album, not to mention if I wanted to shoot a music video for one of the tracks. Just to give you an idea of the costs: I have to pay the producers for the beats, pay for studio time, manufacturing, marketing and promotion, etc.

THE ARTIST

Growing up a punk kid in Virginia I take influences from bands like Bad Brains and Black Flag to rappers like Clipse and The Game. I've been performing in punk bands, touring up and down the East Coast since the age of 15. In 2007, I crossed over to rap and hip-hop, and since have created my own fusion of the two genres. I have all the cards stacked against me in this industry: being punk, being white, being gay. But this conflict has only given me more drive & passion at what I do and you will see that comes out in my music.

I have known that this is what I wanted to do for a long time and I am at the point in my life where I am ready to invest everything I have into this.

THE ALBUM
The album is about my journey growing up and discovering who I am. Themes include truth, overcoming obstacles, non-conformity, the "American Dream" and more; the "Realness" of modern life. This album will really show you who I am as a person and my views on the world around us. Your investment helps make these thoughts a reality. 

THE COSTS
Approximate breakdown of costs:

   - $800 - Beats
   - $3000 - Engineering/Production
   - $1700 - Studio Time
   - $1000 - Manufacturing/CD Duplication
   - $1200 - Marketing
   - $1200 - Music video for "Alive" single

Anything raised over $9,000 will go towards further video production and seed money for a tour.

THE INCENTIVES

I'm offering some really great one-of-a-kind incentives and I hope you will find them all worth your investment in me and my dream. Contributions up to $25 will get various forms of the first single (coming June 2012) or the entire album. At $60, I'll even throw in a custom Stose t-shirt. Investments at $100 and over will get a limited release art and photo book from Blurb.com that includes behind the scenes candids in the studio, excepts from professional photo shoots and snapshots I have taken along the way.

Investments from $300 and up are all about the parties! Whether it is backstage passes, invites to the launch party or personally flying you to NYC for a night out on the town. If that doesn't work, I can even come to you and play a show... and of course, all of these get the book, t-shirt and album as well.
