12 Days since the launch of MoonChild on Kickstarter, and 11 days to Christmas! Stick and Balloon have been getting much good responses from backers and the public alike, and even got a chance to speak at the Singapore Startup Validation Camp! We showed part of our rough cut, the process of making our film, and crowd-sourced funding on Kickstarter. Many thanks to one of our beloved backers, who gave us the opportunity to speak to an audience!
Here, we decided to share a little about our journey with MoonChild. We built two sets for MoonChild, one exterior environment, and one interior of Niki's house. This is the interior set.
The four walls of Niki's house can be taken apart as to allow space for the camera. However, because the space we had was so tiny, Balloon developed Stop-motion Ninja skills to maneuver around objects and contort her body into amazing shape to reach impossible angles.
The drawing was done by Balloon and the set was build by Stick.
