About this project
After two years of ink slinging, I've completed the 104 page El Vocho graphic novel. Over the past few months I've promoted the book, with great prepublishing events in Portland OR and San Francisco. Now I have a modest order in hand from Diamond Comic Distributors. I will print the book and ship Diamond their order, then the plan is to continue to market El Vocho to smaller distributors, independent bookstores, comic specialty retailers and individuals. The Diamond order covers part of the cost to print and ship the book, but I am looking to raise funds to cover the balance of the printing and shipping costs.
El Vocho is being posted online, one page per week, at http://www.co2comics.com/pages/co2_el_vocho.html.
El Vocho even has it's own theme song, Ballad of the Bug. Here's the video for the tune:

I am a cartoonist and graphic novelist. I cut my teeth doing a preposterous daily comic strip, "Aluminum Foil", at UMass Amherst. Comic book series include Dog Boy with both Cat Head Comics and Fantagraphics, and the Buzzard comics anthology. My several graphic novels include Bughouse, Baja, and Scalawag on Top Shelf, and 40 Hour Man (with writer Stephen Beaupre) on Manx Media.
