Connected as Steve Duno (2154 friends)
The author of eighteen books, Steve Duno has also been a pet behaviorist for twenty years. He started his career on a hill in Mendocino CA in 1989 when he found Lou, the best dog he has ever known, a hero who, starting life as the feral offspring of guard dogs on a marijuana grow, went on to capture rapists, foil armed robberies, save Steve's life twice, win him a life-changing job, save the lives of hundreds of dogs, teach sign language to kids, and so much more. Look for Steve's memoir, LAST DOG ON THE HILL: The Extraordinary Life of Lou (St. Martin's Press 2010) in June.
Love Rotts, love Rescues, love the story. I have posted to my FB to share with friends--I hope it helps!
Hi Steve, I just sent out an email to all my doggy friends. I hope you make your goal! Cheers, Lisa
This morning I woke up and said to myself, "Today my job is to work for Steve." There are currently 29 generous backers on this project, but maybe it's time for us to spread the word. I sent a message to friends and family today telling them about Last Dog on the Hill. If you have already pledged, would you consider sending an email to a list of your friends? This is an extremely viable project with a soul-warming message. Let's make the next 70 days really rock! I want to get this project funded!
Love, love, love your project! How lucky you are to have Lou, and he to have you. I have been fostering dogs for a local rescue for over a year. Happy to give my support to you and Lou. Would love if you would consider pledging to i3 Detroit: http://kck.st/bUzpoj.
Loved it Steve....Lou would be proud.
Steve,
Really good job on the video!
