Kickstarter

Hello to everyone!  SO it has been a while since you all helped us to get the funds together for the music for our proof of concept piece.  Since we added the music, which was gorgeous and really is the star of our video, we have been sharing it around to production companies, producers and the like... It is true that this process takes a very long time and the reactions have been very positive.  We actually had a bite from Electric Entertainment (Leverage on TNT, Stargate, and Independence Day)... the VP of development loved our show and recommended it, but ultimately it was passed on. We do have a conversation going with Mockingbird Films, a company  out of Austin, Texas, but we are awaiting funding information and such before real talks can begin. 

Additionally, we have been attending comic book and horror conventions trying to get the word out. Two short films made by fans of the project have been created, and we are currently working on our first actual comic book issue (Kickstarter coming). As we attended the conventions it became clear that people want a book! I will keep you updated as we move forward! Here is a few videos for fun...including the finished music piece!

Hey everyone!  Just wanted to let you all know the beat goes on. We have begun to make all the arrangements necessary to get the music recorded.  Starting to make plans on where to print the comic once it is finished, setting up meetings and generally trying to look busy.  Thanks to all of you who put their time, effort, and cash into this project.  More info to follow!

We are all so excited that we have reached our goal!  This will make it so much easier for us to make this project as good as we know it can be.  So many of you have been so generous. Thanks to you all!!!

One of the most exciting aspects of our film endeavor is the integration of multiple media platforms. The Comic is one of those elements.  We have produced a short 6 page ashcan comic to include in the materials that we present to potential investors.

The comic was written by Steve Coker, Penciled by Scott Roller and Alex Delaney, Inked by Alex Delaney and Steve Coker and will be colored by comic veteran Steve Mattsson!  

Below is the black and white cover. At this time if you donate $100.00 or increase your existing donation by $100.00, I will send you a finished, colored and signed ashcan comic of Dex Dixon.  This is only for donations made after 4:00pm 7/27 through the end of the campaign.
