We have designed The Steer Safe as a hands-free solution UNIVERSAL to all steering wheels AND all smart phones (with or without a phone case attached). Abides by all laws from the Department of Transportation.

The Steer Safe has been thoroughly engineered and only the highest grade materials, plastics, and rubbers will be used and and we will conduct extensive quality assurance in the factories located in the USA and China. We plan on creating many unique and different colors/designs.
Once funding expires we plan on shipping them 60-75 days out.
Safety is the #1 priority and all driving laws must be followed. Use of your phone should be limited to when vehicle is parked and/or stationary.

Yes. This abides by all current regulations from the Department of Transportation. All state laws surrounding use of your cell phone in a vehicle must be followed. Use of your phone should be limited to when vehicle is parked or stationary.

All cars vary in terms of where their speedometer is located. We have implemented the ability to rotate/tilt which allows you to place The Steer Safe in a location that does not block your visibility. Always ensure it is not placed over the airbag.

At the end of the funding period we will send out a waiver to fill out to get all your contact information. We plan on shipping units out 45-60 days from the end of the funding process. We look to be on track for that date.

Making/receiving phone calls, using your GPS. and use the endless amount of applications enabled on your cell phone. All in a safe, convenient, and effective hands free manner. Use of your phone should be limited to when car is parked or stationary.

The ideal placement of the Steer Safe is at the top of your steering wheel. This allows for placement away from the airbag and in the best line of sight of the driver. Also, placement of hands at 10 & 2 o’clock on the steering wheel while driving is recommended for optimum use. ALWAYS ENSURE IT IS NOT PLACED OVER AIRBAG.

Yes. Hands free use of your cell phone is now mandatory in many states and legislation is being enacted in many others. This provides a safe and highly effective way to use your phone in a hands free manner. It is designed to be away from the airbag thus allowing for safe use of your phone.

Hi!
We are very excited to get you all involved with this product. Why did we come up with this idea? Pretty simple, my wife commutes quite a bit and I wanted her to be able to use her smart-phone in a safe and convenient hands-free manner. Nothing out there provided that level of comfort until we brainstormed this idea. We are so excited that it is coming to life and we hope you are too.
I have an MBA from New York University and extensive professional experience in business development, finance, and consulting, with the passion to make this successful. The entrepreneurial spirit and drive has taken us this far. With your pledge we can take it to the finish line together.
