It looks like today we're on course for SMASHING through the $500k barrier on our way towards our $600k STRETCH GOAL! Our deepest THANKS for your generosity and support, which continues to completely OVERWHELM US...

As an accompaniment to this weekend's scything HIGH SPEED RUSH towards the Stretch Goal, I've been asking the guys to put together some further teases, showcasing game content that will be coming your way in Carma:R. First up, it's a short movie from our Lead Artist Wild Will McCourt, demonstrating the way that the KICKSTARTER BACKERS' EXCLUSIVE IN-GAME RED EAGLE (available when pledging $50 or more) will function in the game. Not only is it a VERY COOL DESIGN, but it also features a rather useful MOVING PART...

Short and sweet, I know... But PHWOOAR! eh?! EH?! Personally, I can't WAIT to see the effect that blade's going to have on our unfortunate and unsuspecting pedestrian population!

Hi there Kickstarter CarmaFans!

Well here we are with yet another Update for you, featuring a new video from Sim 'n' nobby Productions... Which we've put together to illustrate the theme of today's Update: MORE STRETCH GOALS!

We're AMAZED at how well we continue to do on the ol' Pledgeometer, and so we thought it wouldn't hurt to add some extra Stretch Goals in there, as we head into the final week of the Campaign. 

We're all confident that you'll BLAST us through the $600k Stretch Goal for Mac and Linux support.

So, we're going to STRETCH our GOALS even further... Let's see what we can do to exceed everyone's expectations... maybe even DOUBLE the original target!

First of all (and we cover it in the new video)... We're going to ask you to get us up to: 

$650,000! 

At this level, we'll be able to guarantee that Sim will be appearing in the game as the new Die Anna PratCam (this will be an option, even if we manage to get the original Die Anna to reprise her role. In this event, we'll create a new character for Sim!). As a BONUS, both nobby and Patrick will also appear - as PratCam movies for opponents Pitbull and Vlad! This will mark the planned start of a programme to create PratCam movies for ALL the opponents!

Our FINAL Stretch Goal will layer on the AWESOMENESS even MORE! It will need us to get to:

$750,000! 

Because at this level, we're committing to add not one but TWO (inter-related) extra features to Carma:R! Those features being:

Split Screen Support for PC & Co-Op Multiplayer!

These features will transform both local and online play! You'll be able to play split screen, with a close friend, in the comfort of your own home - playing regular competitive games, or Co-Op against AI... And you'll also be able to go online as a team or individuals, and take on all-comers, in regular MP battles or playing a whole new set of Co-Op based MP games! It'll take Carmageddon to a whole new dimension! Imagine actually working together, rather than smashing each other to smithereens constantly... WOW. NOVEL!!

We think this is such a good plan, we're SURE you can get us that extra STRETCH and make it HAPPEN!

Hi there Kickstarter CarmaFans!

Today’s Update is in the form of a Trailer, featuring previously unseen footage from the original 1996 PratCam filming sessions! These sessions, filmed in Hi8 video, formed the material used to create the Max and Die Anna PratCam movies. The footage has never been broadcast anywhere else before now (apart from a very short clip of Faye on an ancient videogame TV programme).

So, we thought it would be great to offer exclusive access to this footage to our Kickstarter Backers. The full-length filming sessions will be available to view in HD, from links in the Kick Me! Private Area – the forum on Carmageddon.com that will be reserved for Kickstarter Backers who pledged $25 and above (those of you at “Very Important Penguins”, “I’m AGOG” and above tiers).

A note about the Trailer: It features our madman stunt lunatic Tony Taylor (of course) as Max, and Faye Morey, schoolgirl superstar turned Die Anna for a Day. Oh, and there’s a brief guest appearance by someone else… Someone who I think you’ll all be very grateful, DIDN’T get selected to play the role of Max Damage… See if you can recognise the young vole faced behelmeted twerp…

Remember, the full length HD movies of ALL the original PratCam raw footage will only be available for our Very Imflammable Penguins,  AGOG tier and above Backers, in the Carmageddon.com Kick Me! Private Area. And rest assured you really will be AGOG, when you see the use a pool cue gets put to, in order to get the perfect shot..! :)

As if that wasn't AWESOME ENOUGH, as well as access to this super-rare footage we'll have another exclusive treat for you... A Q&A session between you the Backers, and our demon drivers Tony & Faye. YOU get to ask the questions you've always wanted to ask, and they get to answer the questions that they never thought anyone would ask! Both cast members have agreed to come out of retirement for one more interaction with their fans!
