Dear Friends,

Happy almost fall! i am so sorry it has been so long since I've emailed you all. Please forgive me. I have had a crazy couple of months since  Stage Right productions summer musical theater camp made its debut! My daughter Audrey is now on "team" competing in a ballet company and well...i am a full fledged "dance mom!" i am happy to report that Hairspray was a giant hit. The kids had a blast and i couldn't be more proud! All thanks to you and your generous donations and support. We had nine paid campers and two full scholarships. It was a small cast and our own version of the show, but we stuck to the fabulous story, music and kept the integrity of the show which is always my goal. We reached out to three new schools and i am trying to get a fall production up on its feet. This  venture was probably one of the hardest things i ever did and sometimes i think i am nuts to try and start a business in this economy with so much competition out there. But honestly besides acting, i love it  and i don't really know what else i would do.  So right now i am trying to decide between "Seussical Jr. and you"re a good man charlie brown." Depending on the venue i am able to afford and the amount of enrollees i have, it will be determined shortly. I am also trying to get a non profit status going so i can facilitate more tax deductible donations to keep Stage Right going strong. The next step is to also try to get my program into a school. Either in house or as an after school enrichment program which is how i started. So if anyone knows anyone please let me know.

Please also do send me your addresses so i can send you all a program. i want to share it with you. i have also included some pictures from opening night. sooo cute!

To My Dear Backers and Friends,

What a journey this has been! I cannot believe we are here. There were times honestly when i questioned this whole thing and asked myself "just who do you think you are asking for donations?" But lo and behold thanks to each and everyone of you, this project is funded!

This week i meet with my stage manager again and set designer and will show them the space for the first time so we can start dreaming the show! My costumer is the Wardrobe supervisor from the Dr. Phil show who costumed Willy Wonka when I staged and directed it at carpenter school.She is fabulous! Hopefully, also this week i will get my licensing quote from MTI, which i am keeping my fingers crossed will not be astronomical. Then, i just need 23 more kids to fill the camp...next hurdle! 

I know some of you opted out of your rewards. Should you change your minds at any juncture in time please let me know. Those of you who have rewards "a' comin" i will be in touch with you to discuss them, get mailing addresses and so forth once the project is officially funded on Kickstarter and the funds have been transferred. This should be sometime toward the end of May.

Once again i am deeply humbled and grateful that you chose this project to back on Kickstarter. Your support means the world to me and i will never forget it.Thank you!

all i can say is wow! i am truly humbled and so touched by all your donations and support of Stage Right and this project. it is going to be great. i had to post an additional update  today and share that i have gotten five new backers in the last three days. i am up to 950.00 dollars towards my dream of providing a quality musical theater camp this summer. thank you so much for the love. it means so much to me. the universe continues to send me signs to keep on going and even brings people into my life that share my enthusiasm for this project. as i mentioned i met a fantastic 26 year old Cal State Northridge grad for coffee yesterday with an outstanding resume, a love for musical theater and  three  productions of Hairspray under her belt.that she has stage managed. i think i found my gal! once again i couldn't do any of this without your support. hope to talk to you all very soon with more backer news and updates. until then...God Bless and remember...."YOU CAN"T STOP THE BEAT"
