A giant, round fuzzy puppy plushy from Squishable! Is there anything better than a puppy? Unlikely!
Shiba Inu puppies are just so darn cute. They’re fuzzy. They’re fox-like. But wouldn’t they be even more awesome if they were also….round? This Kickstarter is to help us create a Shiba Inu Squishable! Because the world needs more puppy love.
We’re Squishable - a really small design team that makes giant, round, fuzzy animals. We offer them on our website www.squishable.com and at a whole bunch of specialty toy and comics stores. We’ve been around for about 5 years making the world a fuzzier place.
It has come to our attention that puppies are awesome. So we decided to let our fans choose the next Squishable dog design!
This spring we ran a contest to see which dog breed to turn into a Squishable. The Shibu Inu ran neck and fuzzy neck with its arch-rival the Corgi for most of the contest, but in the end the Shiba lost by a nose: 11,845 votes to 10,233 votes.
Although they didn’t win, we realized that Shibas really ARE amazing and they deserve to be made into giant fuzzy spheres of love. We’ve created about 50 Squishable designs over the years, but never has there been one so adorably cute that it could be used as a tactile defense weapon. This is that Squishable.
Puppy fans, we need your help to make this happen. Our budget never had a Shiba Inu in it, but looking at this design we think it deserves to exist! We need to raise funds to cover the initial production. The funding goes towards getting the design to the factory, getting the construction perfect, and finally having them produced. You can make the world a happier, more cuddly place to be.
You know how this works! Make your pledge and choose your reward from the list at the right. If you’ve got a question, ask us! If you just want to hang out, that’s cool too! Thanks everyone, and we love you!
International? No fear! Assuming we get funded...for the Micro, add an extra $7 for shipping and we'll get it out to you USPS First Class! If you've pledged enough for a Shiba Inu, the extra international shipping charge is $45 for the first 15" Shiba, and $10 each additional 15" Shiba! It'll be sent over via USPS Express Mail! And for the blow-out, email us for shipping details!
Yep, those are both considered just the same as the Continental US for shipping purposes!
Youre right! Canada only needs to add an extra $18! Sorry, we left that out earlier! Thanks!
