I'm going to try to define Burning Man, by following my two 60+ year old parents to the desert on their quest for something more.

After a little convincing, my MOM and DAD decided that they were going to attend Burning Man. In this film you'll get to know me and my parents in our daily lives, and see the step-by-step process of some first-timers going to Black Rock City.
We're going to follow them through the process of scrounging through thrift-stores for appropriate attire, decorating their bicycles, and building art installations to take to the desert. We'll go with them to Burning Man, taking them to a world where anything is possible; to a place where they can express themselves with no boundaries.
This film will aim to encourage those who have fallen into the loop of average life to keep their own creative endeavors in mind, and will urge people to question their priorities and what they hold as “important”, reminding them that it isn't too late for them to pursue their own wildest dreams. This message will hopefully reach a large, contrasting audience by delivering it through an accessible medium in a light-hearted manner.
This project will hopefully circulate in film festivals internationally, and with the quality of which it will be produced at, it could possibly be on television as well! The filmmakers involved have critically acclaimed work under their belt, and this budget will allow for them to step it up a notch.
