In Kaiju City, you can control titanic skyscraper-toppling monsters or Kaiju City itself! Massive battles in classic kaiju style.
The plot of many Kaiju movies is something like...Monster rises from obscurity...Monster finds a city to love...City rejects Monster...Monster throws a temper tantrum...Monster skulks away sadly...BUT MONSTER ALWAYS COMES BACK. Kaiju City is following that plot, a bit. We're not going to throw a temper tantrum, and we know that at least 110 people loved us, but we are sad not to have found even more eager Kaiju fans. One thing is certain, however--WE WILL BE BACK!
We've heard and read some good ideas on what backers and lurkers think wold make Kaiju City a more awesome game, and we're are already cooking up ways to integrate those ideas. If you have more ideas, then please, leave a comment here and let us know what would make Kaiju City a Must-Back project for you.
Stay vigilant and watch the Kickstarter shores...Kaiju City will be back!
Kaiju City is constantly plagued by giant rampaging monsters. For this reason, the city is always rebuilding itself in the hopes of fending off the latest giant monster attack. Will this be the end of Kaiju City or will the monsters be defeated? Pick a side and play against your friends to decide the fate of Kaiju City! In Kaiju City, players divide into two teams. One team controls four titanic skyscraper-toppling monsters, the other directs the efforts of Kaiju City to defend itself and drive off its invaders.
In addition to Kaiju City being an awesome board game, we also have a limited edition print by renowned artist Frank Parr (you can see a black and white sketch above and we'll have updates as that gets colored and completed).
And at the IROKUS level, you can get an original 8x11" signed ink drawing of a Kaiju from the game by artist Frank Parr! Pick which Kaiju you want and pick a famous building you'd like it to attack, and Frank will do the rest!
And each copy of the game will come with a Kaiju City Medallion. This limited edition, heavy-duty, unique token to represent your support of the launch of Kaiju City Medallion. A limited quantity of these Medallions will be made for the launch of the game and once they're gone, they will not be made again!

Stay tuned for more previews of Kaiju City!
The monster team stomps their way through the city destroying as much as they can as quickly as possible using special powers like poison breath and causing earthquakes. Destroy the city and the monsters win! This team provides a lighter gaming experience allowing monster players to focus on stomping their way to victory.
The City team draws and places tiles allowing them to manage resources and mobilize the military to engage and destroy the invaders. Kill four monsters and the City team wins! This team provides a more strategic gaming experience as the city players must choose their tile placement carefully as well as managing their resources to ensure that they have what they need to drive the monsters from their beloved Kaiju City.
Experience an asymmetrical game design and have several tons of fun crashing through buildings and zapping monsters with your lightning cannon!
The initial $10,000 goal helps us cover some of the production costs of bringing Kaiju City to life. With your support, we could potentially exceed that initial goal and hit some of these stretch goals. So far, we can reveal these two additional Kaiju that we'll be able to add to the base game at $12K and $14K. And we have some awesome additional upgrades in the wings, that we'll reveal as we get closer to each goal.
The Kaiju City Medallion is a limited edition, heavy-duty, unique token to represent your support of the launch of Kaiju. A limited quantity of these Medallions will be made for the launch of the game and once they're gone, they will not be made again!

Your pledge level does NOT include shipping. You will pay for shipping separately, when your items are ready to ship. So there's no need to include shipping with your pledge. We will email you a link to enter your info, which will also allow you to save on shipping if (for example), you wanted to combine your package with other backers or combine other eligible projects that are fulfilled by Game Salute. Your final shipping cost will be based on the actual cost to ship to wherever you are. Your actual shipping cost will be based on the total weight of the items you're having shipping together as well as your location. Above you'll find a handy chart of ESTIMATED shipping costs based on your pledge level and location. Shipping costs should not exceed these estimates for most backers. They may be lower in many cases and higher in some cases (like if you live in Tanzania and we have to personally deliver your game by sea turtle).
Have a question? If the info above doesn't help, you can ask the project creator directly.
