Spinferno is the craziest, nastiest, Dante-inspired voodoo pinball extravaganza on the planet! Since we've all had someone who makes us so crazy we scream,  we're creating Spinferno to fill that primal, grudge-driven need to get even.

Best of all, we're building Spinferno for the upcoming Ouya game console & Android devices first. You'll enjoy Spinferno on your big ass TVs, right along with the rest of your Ouya-enabled Android games. 

We'll be offering Spinferno as a FREE DEMO to download for all gamers, with the purchase to unlock to enable the full-game. This means everyone with an Ouya console or Android device gets the benefit of catharsis!

Ouya offers indie developers like Rocksauce Studios the chance to get our distinctive, original ideas into the living rooms of the world. So you can play Spinferno on your Android phone or tablet throughout the day or deliver righteous revenge while relaxing on your sofa.

Rocksauce doesn't condone violence or hurting anyone. That's a main reason we're creating this game - to give everyone a safe, fun way to clear their frustrations. 

So you don't feel bad about exacting revenge, Spinferno already assumes the object of your disdain has expired by no fault of your own. You've just been given the chance to serve the role of eternal torturer.

Ever seen the movie Hellraiser? Yeah, imagine you got a temp job filling in for him one day.

Play through Story Mode, progressing through each Circle of Hell until you've locked your victim into Eternal Damnation. Or, rock out with FreeSpin mode, racking up points in your own custom designed levels. 

When we sat down to craft the perfect revenge game, we realized we couldn’t just give people a voodoo effigy to torture. That’s a novelty at best. Instead, we realized that if we take our victims, couple them with rag-doll physics and work it all into a Dante’s Inferno inspired pinball smorgasbord, we would have a game that was not only cathartic, but so much fun it was addictive.

Your victim will always start at the top of a level, strapped to the spinning Wheel of Doom, until they are flung into dozens of devious devices of destruction! Your goal is to use your flippers to continually bounce your character into as many painfully macarbe delights as you can, inflicting as much damage as possible before they fall into the gaping maw below.

The more damage you disperse, the better you do! Rack up enough points before falling through the level and watch your victim explode into thousands of tiny bits before moving further into the gooey bowels of the underworld.

We've designed a huge arsenal of weapons, instruments of destruction, and torture devices to inflict damage onto your victim as they drop toward the bottomless pit. 

The more we raise, the more crazy devices we can work into the game. The possibilities are endless. Our goal is to continually update Spinferno with new weapons as the game progresses, always giving you a chance to keep the game fresh and exciting. 

Use pinball flippers to keep your character in play, so you can torture them endlessly. Your job is to keep them from falling through the level into hole below. Deliver enough pain or dismemberment, you'll move onto the next level. Fail, and you'll have to try the level over again. 

When in the FreeSpin mode, you'll place your flippers, your weapons, monsters and more into whatever configuration you can think of. You'll drop your character into the pit and to see how skilled you really are. 

Pick out a character to exact vengeance on or create one of your own. Put them through their paces as you torture them through 9 levels of Hellish fun, all inspired by Dante's classic, Inferno.

You'll start the game with a bevy of pre-created characters that fit into archetypes which may satiate your vengeful desires. Maybe you need a stand-in for your Boss or Ex. Maybe there's a type whole category of person that drives you up the wall, like the dreaded flannel-clad bearded Hipster? 

We also realized you may want to make it personal. So we're giving you the chance to pick or upload a photo of a certain undesirable individual. You'll crop out their face, pick from a selection of bodies to outfit them with, and get to torturing. 

If things go right, our goal is to give you the chance to share your characters with other users of the game - no matter what platform they're using!

Game creator Chris Crane wanted to get revenge. Someone had done him wrong, and he thought, “Man, I just want a game where I can torture the living Hell out of ‘em!” So he came to the masters of app creation at Austin, Texas, based Rocksauce Studios to help him hone his desire for vengeance into something wonderful.

Rocksauce Studios tapped into the deviously demented Bernard Gumz from SCABFARM to help them craft a game that would give everyone the ability to exact judgement upon the unworthy.

The goal was to create something funny, different, fast-paced that offered a deeper story-line for those who wanted it, but could also be used in a pick-up-and-play arcade style experience. Rocksauce Studios has years of experience in the app creation space, and will brings the technical savoir-faire and mechanical expertise to make sure Spinferno exceeds everyone’s expectations!

Rocksauce Studios and SCABFARM have already created the full AppMap, Bleuprint, gameplay mechanics specification, character analysis, initial design phase, branding and connecting for Spinferno. The next phase is development.

This is where you and Kickstarter come in! We need your help to bring Spinferno out of the fiery pits of Hell and onto your favorite devices! 

By funding Spinferno, you’ll get the type of game you’ve always wanted to play- a game driven by artistic desire, playability - not a licensed cash-grab or rip-off just to help some massive conglomerate steal the soul and mental equity of better creators.

We are starting with development for OUYA and Adroid platforms and will expand to additional platforms based upon how successful our Kickstarter campaign is. The more money we raise, the more platforms we will bring the Eternal Funishment to! Your donation will go directly toward making Spinferno happen. Anything over our goal will be used to create more weapons, new hidden characters, additional levels and more. The more we raise, the more likely our ability to expand to different platforms become. Well, that all depends on how well we do with this Kickstarter campaign. Originally, we had planned to create Spinferno for iOS, but Ouya was a better fit for launching the game. 

However, considering Rocksauce Studios' love for all things mobile, we can't wait to see Spinferno on a beautiful Retina iPad. You know it'll be badass. We just need to surpass our goal to make it happen. 

Once we've raised enough, we'll be able to move forward on dev for iOS as well as Android. We want everyone to get the chance to enjoy the guilty-pleasure that will be Spinferno.  

We will donate 5% of our proceeds towards helping other Kickstarter nightmares (dreams?) come to life through Kick-It Forward. We believe in Kickstarter and how it's helping creators the world over.
