Greetings Hunters and Finish Line Participants,

We're seeing the legendary Surge of the Final Week as we rocket past 75% of funding with only 4 days remaining in the campaign. A giant, "Thank You!" to everyone for your support throughout the the past couple of weeks. We wouldn't be here without all the tweets, sky writing, Facebook posts, message-laden swallows, previews and slightly libelous, seriously misinformed news posts. And let's not forget my mid-campaign black-eye contest with EA! Talk about Tiger Blood levels of exposure.

When this is over we'll all join together around the camp fire and laugh about what fun it was, how tiers and add-on's almost drove Ophelea to insanity all while throwing burning coals at those misfits who backed-out before the finish line. "Oh, but I needed the money for surgery or I was going to die!" Pffft. Is life-saving surgery really more important than a Linux port of "Akaneiro?" More critical than seeing the game brought to life on Android and iOS tablets?! Well, let's just agree to disagree, Mr. Man.

Back when I was a young'un, we didn't get to have co-op multiplayer added to our games unless we duct-taped our monitors together and played the same single-player game side by side. Or we could try to Deathmatch while promising not to shoot each other, but Romero taught me the hard way, never trust. Here, you've got a chance to add awesome, fully functional co-op multiplayer to Akaneiro - quickly and without duct-tape! If we hit our goal, you'll be demon slaying, side-by-side, by Easter. What better way to celebrate the holiday?
