About this project
"Oh Goodie!" is my webcomic, an anarchist teen comedy about rock music, friendship, and taking control of your life (http://ohgoodie.net). It's run for two years now, and the first compilation volume "Introduce Yourself" was released in 2011. I took to any convention I could, covering both coasts in less than a year. I've made great strides since then, but it really hurt me financially. So in 2012 I want to go local (anything around Chicago or the Midwest) and focus all the energy I can there in the promotion of the second volume "Working Man". But I need help to make it happen.
My goal is modest ($2000) and the time frame for donation is wide (55 days). It may not seem like much, but that $2000 will give me more than enough to print up a new batch of BOTH my books along with special edition prints, and it will be enough to secure table space at the conventions I hope to sell these books at. Really, this scant $2000 will have me set for the entire year of 2012.

Seamus Patrick Burke is an American comic artist born and raised in Chicago IL. He is a graduate of the Minneapolis College of Art & Design where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Comic Art. He is also the former assistant to Ryan Kelly, where he worked on such titles as “Local”, “The Vinyl Underground”, and “Northlanders: The Cross and the Hammer”. He is currently the writer/artist/creator for the webcomic “Oh Goodie!”
