Southbound Drive Album Fundraiser
Southbound Drive is an Austin rock-band trying to raise enough money to record an album through KICKSTARTER. But not just any album, a 7-song masterpiece recorded by Grammy-nominated Producer Frenchie Smith! Unfortunately, if we don't meet our $6,000 goal, all funds go back to you and we get nothing! (sad face insert). The studio time is booked and the band is ready to record, but they've got to raise the funds through your support!
Southbound Drive made this video to show not only what could happen without your help, but also, what they're all about. They've played great shows throughout Austin, got their acoustic side on, and practiced until...well the term blood, sweat, and tears comes to mind. Each member is passionate about the music, believes in the cause, and ready to record what looks to be, one of their proudest accomplishments.
Each contribution helps. From a dollar to three thousand, Southbound Drive came up with some great ways to buy in and support the band. It's crazy expensive to record a quality album, but with your help, the dream can become a reality. So, dive into that wallet (or purse) and rack up the air miles in support of a great band, amazing music, and a cause worth recognition.
So that's the story. This campaign is to support a band with penetrating music, intense drive, and a taste for following dreams. We're throwing a Kickstarter party at an amazing to-be-announced location. All prizes able to be given out, will be distributed then. We'll play an hour set and have a bar setup for all your thirsty needs. Hangout with the band and receive your many thanks in person! More updates will be added as the deadline approaches and if the goal is met, look for the VIP party for all those who donated in ATX!
