I totally agree with Scott. Let's do it. Can everyone commit that by March 6th - the day after Sonya's gallery show - we double our pledges if the goal is not met?

SUBJECT: A surefire plan to reach pledge goal by March 8
Let's agree, we all fell in love with Sonya's project, “A Search for Heartbreaking Beauty” the minute we read about it and we were more than happy to pledge what we could to such a worthwhile cause. So far we've pledged a total of nearly $5000. In order for this project to succeed however, the goal of $10,000 must be reached by the 8th of March and time is running out!
Let's be real here. The project got off to a great start but it has most definitely reached a plateau and if this pattern continues uninterrupted it is safe to say that the goal will not be met, Sonya stays home, and all of our hearts get broken as we watch this project fail :/
So.. what must we do? It's quite simple really. We must interrupt the pattern of course. How? By each of us doubling our pledge! Together we've already generated half of the goal so if each of us doubles our own pledge we make the goal, Sonya get's on a plane and “A search for Heartbreaking Beauty” is a success!
Look at it this way:
Fact: You backed this project because you wanted to see see it through.
Fact: According to patterns and projections this project is sure to fail.
Fact: If each backer is willing to double their pledge the project succeeds.
It's not often that a project like this comes around. Sonya has spent a lot of time and energy on this project and doggone it.. it just makes sense that it stay the course.
Speaking for myself I would without question double my pledge before I watch an admirable project such as this one fail !! Who's with me ?
