     Since forming in early 2010, Son Step has worked vigorously to develop a unique sound that has won over ears in Philadelphia and beyond.  Much time spent composing, rehearsing, and performing has left us at a place far ahead of where we started.  And now, we feel it's time to document this with our first full-length studio recording. The process of recording an album, as many of you know, is a long and intensive endeavor. We are in the works of conceptualizing and arranging the music and have plans for production in the spring of 2012. Now we are asking for your help in getting this project off the ground. Your donation will be used to help fund tracking, mixing, mastering, pressing and distribution of the album.

     Kickstarter is a wonderfully designed program that has helped all sorts of artists (many of our friends and peers included) get great projects off of the ground financially. By donating money you make yourself eligible for various incentives to make it more worth your while. If we reach our goal, we get to keep all of the donated funds and get this music out to you and the public. You in return will get rewarded for your donation.
