About this project
Violet & Myo are heading to Eastern Europe for a two week tour commencing April 13, 2011, playing in Ukraine, Poland, and Lithuania. We'll be performing at a few festivals such as the Nexsound 10th Anniversary Concert in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine, the Jauna Muzikas Festival in Vilnius, Lithuania plus shows in Kiev, Ternopil, Krakow, Warsaw, Riga, & Klaipedia. A few shows will feature performances by their joint project, Makioki Sisters - molten disco techno noise improv. Its three countries and 10 shows. Its a lot of mileage, and the trains aren't cheap like they used to be. Its the first time Myo has performed outside of the USA, and Violet's first European tour in over six years. They'll be sharing the stage with many great artists from the eastern European underground experimental scene - Kotra, Zavoloka, Andrey Kiritchenko, XV Parówek, Piotr Kurek, and many others.
