“Sometimes”... is a tongue-in-cheek (and lighthearted slap-in-the-face) illustrated humor book by two graphic designers who value laughter over frustration. Written as a series of short quips in repetitive fashion, each spread is a pair of one of a kind ridiculous illustrations and text. It's a novelty gift—or cathartic tool for yourself!  

WHO?

Hi. We’re Janell and Joe, two unpublished, ambitious graphic designers from Chicago. This is our first book (of what we hope to turn into a series) and we need YOUR help in order to self-publish.

WHAT?

The primary context may seem like the "traditional" workplace—yet it's anything but traditional. Surrealistic situations displayed through some eccentric characters make this a fun book no matter where you work! For the past 6 months we’ve poured our hearts into it, to compose the perfect combination of the highest quality layouts that we hope you find as funny as it was a labor of love.

Now, all we need is to PRINT and begin self-distribution. We need your help! All funds OVER our goal will still go toward the print run & reward costs, as well as helping us build seed capital for more runs and future editions. $3500 is the bare minimum we needed to get started.

If we believe anything it’s this: life’s frustrations are more tolerable when you can laugh at them (and if you're going to bash someone's face in, do it euphemistically).
