As Something to Do we pride ourselves on being entertainers.  We are energetic on the stage and ignite the crowd to life with our music.  We bounce around, yell and sing, and prompt the fans to participate in the madness.  We would like to bring this same exciting energy to our fresh and original music.

With our catchy horn and vocal melodies, rocking guitars, and booming drums, we work to create a unique sound that will stick in your head forever.  Our music is inspired by everything from the deeply rooted ska and reggae movements to the more present day pop, rock, and punk genres.  When listening to S2D, you’ll find it hard to find two songs that sound the same.

With the creation of this new (and currently untitled) album, we will strive to continue this unique and exciting sound.  We have composed a batch of songs that stay true to S2D’s style, while striving to sound like the S2D that you have never heard before.

But let us not forget the most important part of Something To Do: YOU. Without the support from our friends, families, and fans, we would be nothing but a bunch of joe schmoes playing music to an audience of none.  That is why we want to include you in as much of the production process as possible.  In addition to offering new album related rewards to those who donate to our project, we will provide constant video/audio updates during the process of writing/recording.  Additionally, you will be able to participate in various FAQ, poll, and voting activities.

Please, Please, Please remember that if we do not hit our goal within the 45-day target date, we will not receive ANY of the money set towards this project. It is important for you to pass on this information to anyone you may know that would be interested in helping our cause!

The funds raised for this project will be used to record, mix, master, produce, and promote our brand new album that will come out around the summer of 2012.  Thank you so very much for your consideration and donation to this project, and we look forward to giving you the final result!
