Dear supporters, 

I’m excited to announce that we successfully completed our campaign this weekend with $90,535 pledged by 634 backers! This is almost *double* our original goal. I can’t even express how grateful I am for your support. 

When we first created this Kickstarter campaign, we specifically chose to not hire any PR firm since our goal was simply to get our story out into the world and leave it to the public to decide if it was something that they wanted and believed in. We didn't have a track record as a fashion company or any big advertising budget, but we had a belief that there were others out there (like us) who wanted higher-quality, premium jeans that combined exceptional fabric and great local craftsmanship. We set $50,000 as our goal because that was how much it’d cost us to get denim production started here in New York City. I feel fortunate that our friends and people all over the world jumped in to help spread the word. 

Since 2009, there’s been 1,785 fashion projects that have sought to raise funding on Kickstarter. On Friday, we became the 10th largest successfully-funded fashion project ever, and the #1 largest successfully-funded denim project. Your support made all of this happen. 

I wanted to let you know that we’ve already started working with our partners and vendors to accommodate the significant increase in quantity. We plan to provide regular updates in the weeks ahead as we start production. 

For everyone who’s ordered jeans or t-shirts, we will be sending out an email in the coming weeks to collect your shipping details, t-shirt size, and the requested size and style of jeans. In the survey, we'll also provide the sizing and measurement details for each of our products. There will also be a section, where you can specify the type of jeans that you currently wear, and we will provide a size/style recommendation where possible.

Last week was our strongest yet, and even ABC News took notice stating "Parke Jeans Could Revolutionize Denim World"! Just this afternoon, we were also featured on Esquire, which boosted us above $75,000!

We're excited to be entering our final week on Kickstarter! In the past two weeks, we've received coverage from several awesome fashion bloggers including denim experts over at Denimology and also CleanHippie. AND hot off the press, I'm thrilled to share that we're now featured on the front page of Valet, the leading men's lifestyle site!
