Actually, I think it is closer to ~$62,000 since only ~80% of the donations had successful transactions. Hopefully, all the people who maxed out their credit cards expecting to be charged immediately, will straighten their accounts out so SMBC can have the money within the next 3 days.

You know Jerry Lewis retired this year and they are probably looking for a replacement funnyman who knows how to raise money... Zach's kids...hmmm. They would, of course, have to use camera tricks to make it look like the kids were on the same stage, for obvious legal reasons. They would also have to change the cause from kids with MDA to kids with Tourette's, but I think it could work.
