Students from the Urban Assembly School of Law and Justice (SLJ) are hosting their biggest event in their history to showcase the talents of their high school artists, musicians, dancers, rappers, and more on April 27th .  SLJ is collaborating with Parsons the New School for Design to create an unforgettable experience for the students, their friends, family, and the broader Brooklyn community. Parsons students are helping to set the stage and are transforming the High School into an Urban Block Party Glam Jam! We will fill the high school space with floating balloons, LED lights, projected video. and interactive elements. We hope to roll out the red carpet and proudly welcome our guests to see a memorable and enjoyable evening!

This kickstarter funding will go to vital resources needed to make this event successful such as art supplies and set design elements.  Two new flat screen monitors will be be installed in the school to play documentation from the talent show and to inspire students to continue to get involved in community building activities and school-wide events.
