Hello backers,

I promised the last update would be the last one and here I am, writing another update to you...

This is because of an important information concerning MoveeGo. 

1 - First of all, if you are interested in the DSLR Pack, it is now available on http://www.moveego.com for $24.95. It will make the SteadeeGo compatible with cameras up to 3LBS.

2 - The big news is that MoveeGo is moving overseas. As you may know, as a French citizen, I was able to start MoveeGo in the USA only because my wife was working here. And she just got an interesting position in the Netherlands so as soon as she quits her job here, we are not allowed to stay (and work) in the US anymore.
Don't worry, MoveeGo is not dead, it will work exactly the same, just from an other location.
We will move our stuff this Friday and most of the MoveeGo parts will leave for a 6 weeks trip on the boat. That means that I will be able to ship orders this week but in August, I will have a very limited number of products that I will be able to ship. Then in September, it will be back to normal.

What it will change for you is simply about the shipping costs. Obviously, if you live in the US or Canada or Mexico, you may want to place your orders now so that you will benefit from the cheapest shipping rate (and few days delivery). If you live in Europe, you may want to wait few weeks to place your orders as the shipping cost (and time) will drop soon. If you live anywhere else around the world, it will not change anything.

Finally, it will be challenging for me as I will have to find new suppliers for all the parts, hope that there will be only small changes in supply prices, get use to an other shipping company (that may be the hardest part...). There is a chance that I will even directly develop the second version of the SteadeeGo and SlideeGo at the same time...

Just so you know, I will keep approximately 20 SlideeGo and 30 SteadeeGo in stock for the orders of August and September (and maybe October, depending on how fast I am at developing the second version)...

3 - Even though most of you got there products, some are still waiting... It has been a month now since I shipped all the Kickstarter packages and it is a loooong time, way longer than what I expected for shipping a package overseas. The reason is that customs are holding some packages to check them and it can take a while, especially during the summer months, when customs employees are on vacation. Some backers just got their products last week from customs so you just have to be patient. Sorry about that.
If you have not received your package yet, please send me a message so that I can keep track.

This is a preview of a future extension for the SteadeeGo, the DSLR Pack, for making the SteadeeGo DSLR friendly. And with SteadeeGo's unique design, you will be able to switch from a compact camera to a DSLR in seconds, just by switching the lower body. How cool is that?

3) MoveeGo is going to the US Southwest national parks!

For the next two weeks, we will be filming with SteadeeGos and SlideeGos in the amazing parks of the Southwest like Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Arches, Bryce Canyon... and many more. I just can't wait to share these videos with you when we come back.

As a result, it will be difficult to reach me in the upcoming days. I have tried to answer all of your potential questions in the videos on Youtube, but if you have any concern or question, send me an email and I will try to answer it when I will catch a wi-fi signal.

4) Help us make MoveeGo grow!

Because this is a brand new company, nobody knows our name out there. If you like our products, feel free to talk about them to your friends and mention it on any video you will upload for which you used a MoveeGo product.
You can write something like "shot with a xxx camera using the SteadeeGo stabilizer" in the description. It will greatly help the Search Engine Optimization and people who are looking for a camera stabilizer or a Steadycam or a Slider will have more chance to discover our products.

For those who like giving their 2 cents, you can make an "unboxing video" or a "first time using the SlideeGo video" to help potential users get a sense of what the  products are all about.

I appreciate your help to make MoveeGo a recognized name!

Hi,

Everything has shipped now, except for the backers who did not fill their survey yet.

I finally have some time to make tutorial videos on how to assemble, balance, use or fix issues on your SteadeeGo and SlideeGo.

If you want a particular video really quick, please comment and I will do my best.

In few days, we will take MoveeGo's products into the beautiful National Parks of the South West. Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Arches and plenty of other great spots. Prepare yourself for a smooth walk into Antelope Canyon or a sliding video of Bryce Canyon's chimneys!

We will leave on June 27th and we will only have few places with wifi during this trip so if you have any question about the products you just received, ask now!
I will try to make many tutorial videos before we leave to cover any question you may have so that you will be able to make your product work without contacting me.

Hi everybody!

I am happy to tell you that the shipping has started today with all the "SteadeeGo only" rewards. All the rest will ship tomorrow.

I am sorry for being late a few days. My original goal was to ship last friday.
The ugly truth is that although I planned pretty good the manufacturing, I wasted several days on "side-issues" like finding the right stickers manufacturer or the right blank t-shirts supplier or going back several times to Office Depot because they sold me a toner cartridge that was half empty... all these little things that make a business an everyday delight!
To compensate, my wife helped me a lot (my 2yr old daughter too, just by being nice...) and I didn't sleep that much the last few nights, but it was not enough to ship on June 15th. I hope none of you will leave on vacation without their MoveeGo products because of that delay.

I will post an other update when everything is shipped out to tell you what is coming next and give you more details about the products you will receive in your maibox very soon.

I was asked by some backers to send additional tracks for the SlideeGo.

Although the original 3 feet track will allow you to make most of your sliding shots, you may be interested in having more of them for other uses.

If you want more tracks, just send me a message and I will send you an invoice and add the tracks to your package.

The retail price for one additional 1 foot long track will be $12.95 but for Kickstarter backers, it is only $9.95 and there is no additional shipping (unless of course you want 50 of them!).
