Update #27: REVEALED at Newport Art Museum and more
I'm super crazy excited to have this book published and now a solo exhibition at the Newport Art Museum! It includes a large group of THIS I BELIEVE REVEALED subjects as framed prints (with their essays) and a large REVEALED box (7 Feet tall) that contains all 209 REVEALED subjects. Also, mp3 players are available so you may listen to the subject's read their essays. This is a super cool exhibit that stimulates your eyes, ears, thoughts and feelings. For the first time, I am exhibiting several subjects as a series. And there are new subjects.
This Friday, March 30th, from 5-7pm is the reception. My artist talk is April 12th (6-7pm) and the exhibit is open until May 20, 2012. Click here for more information.

Update #26: Books have all been sent!
All the REVEALED books have been sent!!! yay!
I made 3 trips to the post office and they were great to work with. Pulled my truck to their loading dock, left them a blank check and I was on my way.

Update #25: The REVEALED Books Have Arrived!!!!
Last Friday our REVEALED books were released and I grabbed a U-Haul and braved the snow and rain to pick them up in Boston. By picking them up, I received them about a week earlier then having them delivered.
This weekend I have been busy taking the wrap off the books, signing and packaging the books. All books will be mailed by the end of the week. YAY!!!

Update #24: Shipping Supplies arrived...
A pile of 8 boxes today arrived that contain the shipping materials for the REVEALED book. I also received a call today that the books will arrive in Boston on Thursday, 23rd! Though they may not be released until next week. I have decided to pick them up (via U-Hual truck) to speed this process up 3-4 days.
We are almost there!!!!

Update #23: Books almost here!!!

It looks like the REVEALED books were loaded on the ship just before the Chinese New Year and then sat there for 4 weeks. During the New Year, China basically shuts down the factories and shipyards. Unfortunately, we didn't make it out of port before the shutdown.
The good news - it was one of the first ships out when the port reopened and the books will arrive in NYC this Thursday, 16th! They are then trained to Boston and I'm going to pick them up to speed up the process of getting the books to you. Hopefully, they will breeze through customs and I will be mailing them out before the end of the month.
I was mistaken on the weight in a previous post, the books weigh in at 2,425 pounds. :) We used a heavier stock paper in this book than most photography books. Which makes it a hefty book and I must add the blacks are very rich!
If you are in Rhode Island or Massachusetts in the month of March or April, there are several book signings, a museum exhibit (Newport Art Museum) and discussions around this project. As always, check out the events on:

Scott Indermaur has been sharing stories for almost two decades through the visual language of photography. His assignments have taken him from the smallest rural communities to the world's most urban environments. His gift lies in discovering the familiar in the exotic and the remarkable in the ordinary. Whether he's capturing a fleeting moment in history or cutting to the essence of a portrait, Scott tells the story in a language everyone understands.
Returning to his photojournalism roots, Scott is very involved in creating multi-media stories for himself and clients. He is enjoying this "return to roots/new-found" side of journalism as it is yet another aspect of photography with a new level by which he can connect with his clients ... through photography and audio.
Scott has a unique gift in being able to truly connect with his subjects, putting them at ease even under the most high pressure of circumstances ... whether it is for multi-media stories, annual reports, advertising, editorial or corporate photography. His easy-going nature puts people to ease and make him a great person to work with. Scott travels nationally and internationally for assignments. He is located in Rhode Island and the President of ASMP New England.
The entire family, 2 children and wife, are accomplished martial artists. Scott enjoys spending time with his family, dining out at ethnic "hole in the wall" restaurants, cooking, wine, meeting new people, traveling, music, sailing, snowboarding, reading, learning about the laws of the Universe, and working on inner and spiritual growth.
