About this project
Singletree Productions introduce their fourth feature film, "A Splice of Life."
Film Logline "When faced with failed relationships, slipping dreams, and an unplanned pregnancy, three friends and movie theater employees must choose between the convenience of arrested development or the difficulty of growing up."
Singletree's History Singletree Productions was started by Mark Potts and Cole Selix and is based out of Oklahoma. They have made over 100 shorts, most on their YouTube page and three feature films. These films have played at many festivals and won various awards. Their third feature film, "S&M Lawn Care," won the Special Jury Prize at the 2010 Friars Club Comedy Film Festival and their second film won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2010 deadCENTER Film Festival. Their first feature, "The Stanton Family Grave Robbery" was named one of Oklahoma's top 10 films of the decade.
These features were created for less than a combined $10,000. Now is when we need your help to step forward.
That Next Step While the first three features are fun and enjoyable to watch, we aren't afraid to say they were lacking in some important fields like audio, color correction, and score. We know that in order to reach a much wider audience, we need to bring not only these things, but everything, to a professional level. We have proven that we can make a good project with almost no money. Now is the time to make an amazing project and that's where you come in.
Something we love about filmmaking is interacting with the audience. Festival Q&As are one of the main reasons we even submit to festivals. Being able to talk to viewers and listen to what they thought, getting their insights, and learning about them is an essential part to filmmaking. We consider filmmaking a community experience and Kickstarter is the best place to be for this.
What We Need We need funds to complete the post-production process of the film. We need to complete the audio mix, color correction, scoring, and start the process of submitting to film festivals. We truly believe we have a special project on our hands and are completely confident your money will help this film succeed.

Singletree Productions is one of Oklahoma's premier film companies having shown their projects all over the world and won numerous awards for their short and feature films. They also have some great dance skills, but those aren't as well known due to the underground nature of the dance competitions they use them in.
