In an effort to help lift one of our favorite Detroit bands, Prussia, to the point of national attention, we've decided to embark on an ambitious 2 month-long film project that will produce:

* An official music video for the band’s lead single off their new album

* A short film of behind the scenes moments captured during the making of the feature music video

* A special performance filmed in the traditional Single Barrel Detroit style

* Exclusively filmed footage of the band amidst their national 2011 Spring tour

All of the films created will be for your viewing pleasure of course, however they're also intended to serve as a media kit to help the band promote their upcoming album.

This project will feature the bountiful time, care and craft of many in Detroit’s artistic community and will be filmed at a richly-historic Detroit location.

What exactly are you supporting?

With your backing, you’ll be embracing our goal of having this project be part of the larger narrative of the city’s rebirth. The creation of the videos, the exclusive involvement of the Detroit creative community and even the process of how it’s funded will be a story that is uniquely Detroit. It goes way beyond a music video.

By donating to this project you will not only be showing Detroit pride, but you will also be supporting our effort to utilize the videos created to achieve national attention for an overly deserving local band.

Single Barrel Detroit will be funding a large portion of this project, but we need your generous backing to help with costs associated with location, specialized camera, equipment rental and insurance, and editing services.

Beyond being part of something awesome for Detroit, what do I get for supporting?

Anyone who pledges will receive a special credit on our website where the videos will be featured, but we’re also offering a ton of treats at all different pledge levels – including being in the video itself!
