Download of my daughter, Frances’ directorial debut, the 2011 film “Nobody Makes Love on Thursday,” a hilarious and touching 17 minute film. Written and directed by my fourteen-year-old daughter in the manner of her hero, Buster Keaton. It’s a silent, black comedy about a girl who falls in love with a dog. I make an embarrassing cameo! Just found, long out-of-print, hand produced, letterpress copies of The Boy Who Wouldn’t Sleep, a children’s book I wrote in 1997 when my son, Owen, was a sleepless toddler. Now he’s sixteen and it’s hard to get him up at all! Illustrated by local artists Bill & Renee Hoover. This was produced in a very limited edition of 150, hand-printed by Amy LaVarnway, completed at the University of Nebraska at Omaha as part a hand-produced books course. Amy printed all of the books but a handful were never sewn together and sat shelved all these years. We are sewing up these last copies now. Receive this rare book, signed. New album and download.
