Silver Lake Junction is a half hour episodic comedy about the Hipster subculture lifestyle packed with all the ironic t-shirts, mustaches&beards and skinny jeans you can shake a glow stick at! Completing it with enough pop culture&musical references to send your Ipod into overdrive. The main two central characters "Bloodfeast" and "Finnegans" take you on a wild ride of their daily adventures of hipster life in Silver Lake, California. They work at a local bar and roadie for Morrissey while striving to be the biggest indie band this side of the reservoir, hilarity ensues as they discover the walk in closet in their apartment is a Goth Portal where The Cure's Robert Smith resides and randomly visited by The Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards. It has been described as "H.R.Puffin Stuff meets Pee Wee's Playhouse on acid with a touch of The Monkees". It is witty and articulate, with sensibilities akin to such shows as "The Mighty Boosh", "Monty Python" and "The Young Ones".

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
OK folks, the challenge we face here is that in this day and age networks are really big fans of DIY ( do it yourself ) projects that leave little or no risk to them. We have started are Kickstarter to raise the funding to shoot the entire pilot and have it presentable broadcast quality, so if interested, the networks can air the pilot and hopefully green light a whole season ( which has been completely written! ). The beauty of internet has also provides the possibility of making the show a web series, so either way we need a broadcast quality pilot to air.
The reason for the amount we have set our goal at is to cover all the numerous costs of shooting a TV pilot. We have to pay for- Directors, Producers, Cast&Crew, Equipment rentals, Wardrobe, Hair&Makeup, Lighting, Grips, Gaffers, Sets, Flats, Art department, Set Decorators. Production Assistants, Craft Services and Catering ( And that's a lot of mouths to feed!!!) and unexpected expenditures, like that MYSTERY PART that you have to send some PA all over Hollywood to find! Then there is Post- Production, Editing, Audio, Visual, color correction, etc. Then we had to create a budget for all those nifty reward prizes to give to all of our beautiful contributors. You get the basic idea, so we hope that all of you get on board with our project from the ground up and continue on this journey with us as we make our goal with this project a reality!
