Hello all-- we'll make this one quick. The record is out! Hooray. We had a very fun and successful record release show at Bottom of the Hill on Thursday, and we head out on tour next week.

If you are getting just download codes, you should have gotten an email from us with your codes by now. If you didn't, or have any trouble downloading, contact us at silianrailmusic@gmail.com. We will be mailing out records and posters and such Monday. Sorry we weren't clear about this earlier! But! People who are receivng physical objects will receive their various codes with the vinyl/poster/etc.

Kind, generous supporters, friends and family, given and chosen--

Hello. We hope this finds you well. I'm not sure how most people handle Kickstarter, and whether to apologize for not sending out more updates, or to apologize for sending out too many, or to say you're welcome for sending out a Goldilocks just right amount.

Anyway, here's an update!!!

1. The record is now in the physical manufacturing process. Meaning a vinyl pressing plant is making a test pressing, and CD materials are being assembled and the like. We had a few delays getting everything just right in this regard, unfortunately, so the record may not be out until late April/early May. This means we won't be able to release it on April Fool's Day, but, the extra attention to detail will be worth the wait. Promise.

2. We are finalizing artwork as we speak, with the tremendously talented Camille Robles. http://onereddelicious.com/about.php (She designed our acoustic ep artwork, and has collaborated with eric in the past and future).

3. The collaborative EP is coming together beautifully. A couple tracks are fully complete, with collaborator additions, and the remaining will be recorded in the next few weeks.

4. We have a release show booked! May 3rd at the Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco. We will be joined by Whiskerman and Michael Musika. There will be guests and surprises and other fun things.

5. Video 1 is complete (thanks to Christine Hucal), for the song "Young Moon" (the lead off track). It'll be up for viewing closer to release time. Video 2 is in production, by John Christian F. Apalnes (who made the stunning video for "Moth and Rust").

6. We'll start rolling out some sneak previews very soon! In the meantime, be well, be in touch, and as always, THANK YOU.

Happy Year that it now is, everyone. We hope your days and nights have been just what you needed them to be.

We are starting this year off with a clatter and a rustle and a bang. We will be mixing the record this week, and mastering it soon after, meaning all finishing touches of an audio nature will be completed by the end of this month! We are also working on artwork and release logistics as we speak, and are pleased to announce we are on track for an early April release, on Side With Us Records. Four out of five of the collaborative EP songs are in the hands of the collaborators who are working on them diligently, bringing the best of their immense talents. Number five will be completed soon, and will be a treat for long time fans who would have heard a very different version of this song several years ago at shows.

We will also be returning to live performing next week, with the addition of Lynne Angel, from Tartufi, who will be helping us bring to the stage the many extra layers and flourishes we added in the studio. Dates can be found on our website and facebook page. More to come soon too, including a national tour when the album is released.

With a few hours to spare, we are delighted to announce that we have reached our funding goal. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed, spread the word, listened to the demos, asked us how the record was coming along, came to live shows this year and gave us feedback on the material, etc. etc. and on and on. We head up to the studio tonight!

We're honored that you all believe in us, and we will do everything in our power to make a great record.
