Showrunners Update # 6 - Happy Holidays from Dr. Horrible! (sort of)
$62,599 RAISED OUT OF $80,000!!! - 31 HRS LEFT!
Hey everyone... we've only $17.5k to go to make this film A REALITY. Our funding is on track, and at this rate we WILL BE successful if it remains steady! THANK YOU for the unbelievable amount of grassroots support from every corner of the world (even picked up a few backers in French Polynesia, Israel & Greenland!) but we still need the help of YOU, our loyal backers and supporters to get us over the finish line before tomorrow night at 11:45 PST.
If you didn't catch our previous update, we've added additional pledge tiers with awesome new ways that you can get involved with us and this film (HELLO... COMIC-CON PARTY, ANYONE!?). We would be thrilled if any of the new offerings catch your eye and you want to increase your pledge, but what we truly need more than anything right now, is your FACEBOOK, TWITTER, TUMBLR & GOOGLE+ support pushing this out there. Many of you know that getting the word out and increasing visibility at this crucial time with a little over a day left is without a doubt the best way you can help us finish this race.
On another note, we are pleased to announce that we've received the official endorsement of Joss Whedon's infamously euphonious evil-doer, DR. HORRIBLE himself, by way of his official TWITTER account & FACEBOOK fan page after we posted our parody video spoofing some of our favourite shows, like LOST, FIREFLY, FRINGE, DOCTOR WHO & of course DR. HORRIBLE'S SING-A-LONG BLOG, as well as a nod to one of our favourite films that premiered at Sundance last January, BELLFLOWER.
Our Dr. Horrible video went viral overnight and has received nearly 10,000 views in the mere 72 hours it's been online. If we only had $2 from each of those views, we could finally get around to that last minute Christmas shopping and perhaps a wee nap! Check it out below:

We believe that Showrunners is for fans of the page, be it written or drawn. With that in mind, we are delighted to include Director/Producer Jon Schnepp in today's update. If you're not familiar with Jon's name, you are certainly familiar with his work on such shows as Metalocalypse, The Venture Bros., Space Ghost Coast to Coast and will soon be seeing his work on the big screen in the upcoming horror anthology feature, The ABC's of Death. (coming Jan 2013)
