Introduction:

As a launching pad for Ayi Jihu, Chinese artist, goodwill ambassador and philanthropist,Fear Chaser game event was introduced in partnership with Adventure Quest (www.aq.com) online gaming platform.  With an access to over 100 million subscribed fans, Fear Chaser, created and written by Stevie Eagle E and Ayi Jihu of Shlepp Entertainment Ltd, became a hit in less than one year.  “I was astounded by the success of this project and interest we’ve received from so many fans,” says Stevie Eagle E.   Fear Chaser is synonymous with Ayi Jihu through her first launching of the Fear Chaser series, online game with over 25 million players.  

In response to this overwhelming support of fans, Shlepp Entertainment Ltd, an independent company is preparing to launch the Fear Chaser Chronicles, a multi-media global series with its first instalment: short film, DVD, soundtrack and comic.  Fear Chaser Chronicles is a series with a recipe for success and will include martial arts, anime, sci-fi/fantasy and action/adventure.  This genre of film is enjoyed in mainstream popularity and carries an amazing cult following in the Western hemisphere.  With our already built-in audience, we plan to build upon this success, producing the Fear Chaser Chronicles short film, which we intend to witness go viral with your help!

Fear Chaser – The plot synopsis

Every thousand years, a new Fear Chaser is chosen from earth to redress the balance of fear and bring hope to mankind once again.  The Fear Chaser is given superhuman powers to see, confront and defeat the fears of others, as well as his or her own.  The emergence of a new Fear Chaser also brings new life to the Angels of Hope.  A special group of Angels engaged in constant battle with the Fear Lord and his demons.  As man becomes more and more consumed by fear, the Fear Lord and his demons become stronger and the Angels of Hope weaker.  The battle against fear cannot be won in the Fear Plains alone, it has to be fought and won in the hearts and minds of humanity.  The Fear Chaser cannot fight for mankind; he or she can only fight with mankind to conquer the Fear Lord and his demons.

WHAT IS FEAR CHASER CHRONICLES?

At a time when fear has people divided and unfulfilled, we are bringing people of all backgrounds, colors, beliefs and cultures together with Fear Chaser Chronicles.  Imagine a diverse group of independent creative minds coming together to form a global multimedia project for film, album, animation, comic, Internet gaming and live show in an effort to educate and inform.  This project is exciting, original and thought provoking and drawn from real-life events of Ayi Jihu.  Ayi Jihu is dedicated to fighting fears by meeting with groups and students around the world promoting dialogue against bullying and reaching one’s potential.  In addition, Ayi Jihu seeks to elevate and educate people by revealing the truth about how we as humans are destroying ourselves and our planet through fear, greed and ignorance.  

It is only when we understand the simple coming of age story of Ayi’s journey from humble beginnings in a small Chinese village in the province of Sichuan to her life today… how Fear Chaser was born. After many years of struggle and hard work, trying to penetrate a musical genre that has so far eluded the Chinese artist in the West, Ayi Jihu and her mentor, Stevie Eagle E finally realized what was truly holding Ayi back.  It was not a lack of talent or perseverance, but fear.  It was this process of understanding that allowed Ayi to recognize just how much fear played a part in her life and all those around her.  It was her desire to help others overcome their fears so that they may realize their full potential and Fear Chaser was born.

 

Everyone has “fear demons” and only Fear Chaser can see and defeat them.  Fear Chaser helps people defeat their fear demons as a team effort.  The Fear Chaser will fight fear demons on the Fear Plains (the Fear Plains are another dimension that runs parallel within the physical world) as well as help a person confront and fight their fears in the real world.  At times, both drama and action will be revealed on screen at the same time, using ‘24’ split screen style (only when it adds impact to the story).  The more the Fear Chaser engages a fear demon in the Fear Plains, the harder it becomes for that demon to influence the individual in the real world in a negative way.  

 

Inspirational to the core, Fear Chaser Chronicles is a movement.  It is a way of helping people of all ages, races and demographics look within themselves to see what part fear plays in who they are and what they’ll do.  Ayi Jihu hopes that Fear Chaser Chronicles will help open a dialogue with the world based on the fact that we are all one, fighting against our fears and it is our fears that truly separate us.

AYI JIHU – THE FEAR CHASER

Based loosely on her life experiences as a Chinese woman facing and fighting her fears as a rising international star, Ayi Jihu is the Fear Chaser.  One day, on her way back from her dead end job, Ayi notices a strange light in the sky and before she can move, the strange light strikes her and she is knocked unconscious.  When she awakes, a million questions flood through her mind.  She gets up, brushes herself off and makes her way home not knowing that her life has been changed forever.  She is able to move anywhere in the world in a fraction of a second through the Fear Plains; she is also able to summon a bolt of energy at extreme moments while fighting fear demons in the Fear Plains.  As she progresses, she will become more powerful, discovering skills and abilities that she never knew she had.  When Fear Chaser reaches her full potential, she will have the ability to do amazing things.  However, in the beginning similar to Neo in the “Matrix”, her main tools are martial arts, amazing agility, speed and strength.  A multi-dimensional character, a type of “Kill Bill” meets “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Medium”, featuring Ayi Jihu’s new soundtrack in the mix!

While many production services have been donated to the film, we are still in need of production and post-production services.

Crew

We have the support of great film artists, however additional crewmembers are needed to get the job done cost efficiently.

Animation

To help illustrate certain points throughout the film, we will create custom animations, graphics, and images. These graphics will also be carried over to our gaming world.  Great animation is key to the success of this film.

Sound Mastering

We are excited about the soundtrack that will be produced along with this film.  We have an HD video and digital audio facility ready to help at cost with state-of-the-art production facilities.

Composer/Editor

We have accomplished composers who are willing to work for us and give most of their time.  However, editing and mastering is also needed to make our soundtrack the best it can be.

Closed Captioning

An international audience is key.  We want our film to be seen by as many people as possible and with captions in their native language. By helping fund closed captioning, our film will be accessible to the hearing impaired and foreign language speakers.

Travel

To complete our film, we need to purchase tickets for travel and lodging. Additionally, once the film is complete, the team needs to travel with the film to various film festivals and theatrical openings to promote our film.

Do you have to reach your goal? Yes. In order to keep the pledges for this film we must exceed or meet our goal.  If we do not meet or exceed our goal then no one will be charged for his or her pledge. 

What happens if you exceed the goal amount?  Fear Chaser Chronicles is a multi-media project that has many components.  If we exceed our goal for the short film we will be able to launch our live-show and Internet game simultaneously.

What’s the release date? Our goal is November of 2012.  

Can I give my reward as a gift?  Yes, all pledges may be purchased and gifted to someone else.  They will be notified of the gift and where the gift came from.
