Hi, my friends. I have been offered and signed a book publishing contract worth $27,000.00 to produce this project "Pookie's Family Album", my children's book, with Tate Publishing, a very reputable, national company that is growing astronomically. I'm doing this Kickstarter project because my part of the publishing deal requires me to pay a one-time refundable retainer fee of $3,990.00. I have already paid $200.00. This fee guarantees me the essential services of a marketing representative and a publicist, throughout the life of my book as long as I'm under contract with them for this one book project. This is paramount, if this project is to succeed.
This is the beginning of many "Pookie" projects. I have written 3/4 of a full featured animation film and/or mini-series called, "Pookie and the Pests", I have ideas of doing greetings cards and to complete a book series called "Pookie's Family Adventures."
I am also an accomplished singer and songwriter. I have written 3 songs for the movie soundtrack and others that could go along with many book titles as Audio extras.
