Friend vs. Frenemy: Guest post on Ten to Twenty Parenting Blog
Ten to Twenty is a parenting site about raising--you guessed it--kids between ages of 10-20. Although some of my characters are just brand-new mothers, my entry focuses on one of the lessons that are so important to pass on: encouraging our youth to have QUALITY friendships over QUANTITY.
In more recent years, I have found a lot of like-minded friends not because of where I worked or went to college, but because we enjoy the same hobbies (book club! adventure! craft beer! karaoke! dancing! epic conversations!). This is one of the lessons that my novel teaches that I hope makes readers stop and take stock of their current friendships.
