About this project
THE TIME IS NOW... to step out from sideman to FRONT MAN. My hope is to raise enough funds to record my debut EP, "The Time is Now" and share my songs with all of you!
For several years, I have had the pleasure of playing guitar for some really amazing artists such as Amos Lee, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Terra Naomi, JT Hodges, Bryan Master and Tiffany... to name a few. However, I feel it is now time to pursue my own original music career and record my debut EP, "The Time is Now". These past few months, I have crafted 10-12 songs that are some of the best I have ever written...Only 3 will make the EP, but now is the time to bring them to life, record to tape and have them blasting through you speakers at home. Should we hit $10,000, I will gladly boost the song track numbers up to 4 or maybe even 5!
If you are wondering what the $6,500 goal will be used for, here is a little breakdown:

I am very proud to announce that Total Access has agreed to let me grace their studios to record the EP. The vibe of this studio is so inspiring and my music will be recorded in the same room that has played host to bands such as Sublime, No Doubt, Slightly Stoopid, Pennywise, Black Flag, The Descendents, Foreigner, Black Sabbath (Heaven & Hell), Dokken, Great White, Guns 'n Roses, Minutemen, Supertramp, Duran Duran, Unwritten Law, Pepper and many many more.
THE TIME IS NOW is not only the EP name, but is also my main theme for this project, which you will see quite often throughout this amazing process. It is time for a change in my musical path, time to show you all what has been cooped up in my head for the past few years, time to be creative, time to see SHAUN HAGUE on the Chicago Theatre's & Fillmore's marquee.
As the days go by, I will be updating you all on which of the 10 songs will make the final 3 on the EP. I am very excited about this adventure and hope that you will all help make it become a reality.

For the past eight years, I have been playing guitar professionally for bands such as Amos Lee, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Hodges and The Break and Repair Method. The "hired gun" world has also given me the opportunity to record with various artists and perform on hit TV shows like The Tonight Show and Jimmy Kimmel.
My love for music eventually poured into the field of professional music writing, which provides me with a very unique and different way of expressing my musical background. I have had the pleasure of interviewing artists such as Eric Johnson, Joe Bonamassa, John Mayall, The Donnas, The Sweet, Gin Blossoms and Chris Pierce. I currently freelance for Acoustic Guitar and Fretboard Journal.
