ANIMUS is the creative theater project created by Zehara Nachash which incorporates dance and the shamanic journey.

ANIMUS: A SHAMANIC JOURNEY THROUGH DANCE is a deeply personal and spiritual show for me. Not only has ANIMUS become a creative vision of mine to elevate belly dance beyond the scope of public perception, but its also a drive to create a spiritual theatrical dance experience for audiences. ANIMUS combines different styles of dance, including African, Aboriginal, Middle Eastern, Lyrical and India with the Shamanic Journey.

ANIMUS will bring audiences back to a Pangea-ic, neolithic time when animals and men walked side by side--and humans evolved spiritually by the experiences of the world around them.

The show features dancers performing as various plants, animals, elements and mythical creatures-each telling a story through the Shaman who narrates their tales of the human condition.

People who donate will get tickets to the show, the workshops and more! I am asking for $1500 to help offset the costs. Any little bit helps but I am hoping to reach my goal of $1500 by June.
