Hey Everyone! Missed Connection just wrapped on Monday! It was an amazing shoot with the best crew and cast in the world and I am overwhelmingly proud of what we were able to accomplish in such a short time on such a limited budget. Unfortunately, it was more expensive than we anticipated (with parking, location fees, incidental expenses, etc.) and we need to raise another $1885.32 in order to cover the production budget. Above is a short trailer of some of the footage, please note that due to time restrictions it is not color corrected nor is it exported in HD, which the final product will be. All that magic happens in post!
Missed Connection is the result of years of awkward loneliness and self-delusion culminating in the creation of a pee-your-pants, slap-your-knee, good-thing-you-didn't-go-to-the-gym-this-week-because-your-abs-are-getting-a-workout, series of 3-5 minute episodes chronicling life of loner Jamie Nichols as she tries desperately to find someone in New York who actually reciprocates her earnest affection. Heart-wrenchingly funny, the series takes the classic "looking for love in all the wrong places" theme, subverts it, heightens it, and finds the absurdity of everyday interactions between people searching for their other half.

- Uhaul Rental: $99.75 + 1.29 per mile (37 miles = 47.73) + tax
- Craft Services -- $200
- Breakfast, Lunch, (Dinner) x four shoot days x 21 people give or take -- $1,150
- General Liability Insurance -- $482.00
- Equipment expendables (compact flash, DIT drives, gels, etc) -- $550
