Over-timer -- You'll get your name in the acknowledgments section of the final book with the title "Over-timer," a electronic copy (PDF) of the book, and you'll receive the Avarice Industries "Velociraptor Launcher" Coffee Mug! You'll be the swankiest person in the office by sipping java out of a mug that none of your co-workers will be able to remotely comprehend. Why is that? BECAUSE YOUR MUG IS TOO AWESOME FOR THEIR PRIMITIVE MINDS! RAWR! (No, really, you should RAWR! at us on Twitter! We're @avariceind.)

(Please be aware that this poster may make you sad, and we do not include tissues in your backer package. We are not responsible for any damage caused by free-flowing, unpredictable tears.) DREAM Engineer -- All of the previous tiers, and you'll be able to create an item/weapon/armor that will be printed in the DREAM item examples. This unique item will credit you as the inventor, and you'll work with Seraphina Brennan and Lorin Grieve to get it made! Your title will also change to "DREAM Engineer" in the acknowledgments of the book. Those people that laughed at your laser cheesegrater won't be laughing for long after you cheesegrate their face for 4 damage! Then again... you could just do that with a normal cheesegrater... and that's probably far cheaper to make... But, moving along!

Corporate Predator (Tooth & Claw Special Level) -- This reward level offers the same rewards as the "Captain of Industry" level, EXCEPT your art will be a part of Avarice Industries: Tooth & Claw, which will come out later this year. Create the Furry Executive of your dreams, and tear your competition to pieces! Or, stick with a human executive and become embroiled in the politics of BioEvolution Ltd. Please note that while you'll get your physical rewards now (and a copy of the core Avarice Industries rulebook + Tooth & Claw), you'll create your lore character later in the year once Tooth & Claw is closer to fruition.

Captain of Industry -- All of the above, and your likeness will be used to create an example character in the corporation of your choice. Your character will appear both in the book and at the end on a unique character sheet featuring items you create and stats you choose. You'll work hand-in-hand with Seraphina Brennan and Lorin Grieve to set up the character. Your title will also change to "Executive of X Corporation" (where the corporation is the one you choose) in the acknowledgments of the book. Additionally, this tier comes with a benefit that we like to call "Didittude." If your GM ever asks you to create a character, just open the core rulebook to your character sheet, lay it out in front of you, put your feet up on the table, and say "Did it." (We are not responsible for any table enmity you may recieve for using "Didittude.")

Please note that while you'll get your physical rewards now (and a copy of the core Avarice Industries rulebook + Tooth & Claw), you'll create your lore character later in the year once Tooth & Claw is closer to fruition. Additionally, instead of getting a message from Synagoga, you'll get a personal letter written to you from the CEO of BioEvolution Ltd., Noche Wulf. I mean this with all sincerity: are you guys still out there?
Since I've signed up here at KS, I've been sucked into the PnP world again and my stomach along with wallet is slightly emptier for it (probably for the best for me tummy). This was the first one to snare me and it has a funkiness along with a seeming flexibility that contortionists would envy. Don't fade off :(
Creator Rob Sanchez on February 20
@Chris Snyder at least you go your mug.. I haven't gotten a response back either.
Creator Chris Snyder on February 6
I think at this point, I think I'm just going to assume the game isn't coming. The mug was cool though :)
Creator Neal Dalton on February 4
Do you happen to have the twitter account name?
Creator Jamie Tsui on February 2
Neal, I spoke to Seraphina via Twitter a few days ago. Seems like some writer's block is going on. She said she would put up a proper update at some point explaining the writer's block. I guess she forgot. I suggest trying getting a hold of her on Twitter.
Creator Neal Dalton on February 1
So do any other backers care that there hasn't been an update? I sent a PM to Seraphina about 3 days ago and still no response. And no way to contact her through the Avarice Industries website, either.
Creator Neal Dalton on January 29
Uhhhh...it's been about a month since you said you were going to post an update after you came back from the holidays. Any updates?
Creator Seraphina Brennan on December 26
I agree, Thomas. I'll be in Pitt in a few days to meet with Xavier. We're going to post an update then.
Creator Thomas Ladegard on December 26
Just a note asking if you could update us on this project. I'm still looking forward to it with great enthusiasm.
Creator Oli Palmer on November 27
Oh, glorious updates! *gorges on his email update with a manic gusto* Thanks for the update Seraphina!
Creator Marc Waters on November 20, 2012
Yeah, this is becoming a bit silly. Where is the game?
Creator Chris Snyder on November 11, 2012
Has anyone heard anything at all about the status of the game?
Creator Oli Palmer on November 3, 2012
Funding reached on March 21st (and reached well over the required amount!) .... now the 3rd of November and I still don't have a digital copy of the book or my mug. Come on guys, can you at least give us an update on what's happening?
Creator Thomas Ladegard on September 10, 2012
You know what I've got in my hands? An Avarice Industries t-shirt and mug! Whoot!
Creator Chris Snyder on July 26, 2012
I'm sure you guys are tremendously busy, but do you have any updates available for us starving masses?
Creator Marc Waters on July 12, 2012
UPDATE!!!!!
Creator Thomas Ladegard on June 24, 2012
How goes development?
Creator Christopher on May 27, 2012
Updates are awesome but can't wait for the printed book hope one is still in the works!
Creator Neal Dalton on May 22, 2012
Any word on the quick start rules?
Creator Schadrach on April 15, 2012
Still looking at an April release for the main rulebook PDF? Also, did PAX cause you to need any rules adjustments that might delay it?
Creator Martin Silver on March 31, 2012
Sounds good. Thank you for this new imangistream to swim in.
Creator Seraphina Brennan on March 28, 2012
To answer your comments, Martin and Stuart, we will be offering everyone copies of "The Burning Forest Future Expo," the convention game we've been running, out to everyone after the book is done. The Future Expo provides players a mission that introduces them to all five corporations and can be used as a starting point for a Green Dragon International campaign. Plus, the Expo comes with 5 pre-generated characters, one of which is Ragna Shinjuki (as seen in the Kickstarter materials here: http://www.avariceindustries.com/kickstarter/character_sheet_huge.png).
Creator Stuart Coutts on March 28, 2012
As I understand it, the "Captain of Industry" backers will have their characters listed in the rulebook.
That, if nothing else, gives you some pregenned characters, even if they aren't necessarily from each corporation.
Creator Martin Silver on March 27, 2012
I'm pleased to be amongst those that have taken the plunge into what looks to be a great game. Similar to Jared, I'm almost certain I'll never get to play this with live people. I have sent out a probe (so to speak) on RPOL though to find out if anyone would want to run a game via PbP (Play by Post). Unfortunately, I'm too green in general when it comes to RPing and I didn't have enough information to comfortably try and make a pitch.
It would be a lot easier to generate prospective recruits if there ends up being a QuickStart released, maybe with a pregenerated character from each corporation. Is there going to be anything like that in the future?
For anyone in the same predicament as I am, the site I'm hoping to eventually play this on is rpol.net
It's free to join and there's all sorts of people there interested in various games. It would be great to see some of you guys there. Maybe we can get something going :)
Creator Louis Fairgrieve on March 21, 2012
Congratulations everyone! I can't wait to see what the final product looks like!
Creator Jared Trezise on March 20, 2012
Woo!
Congratulations guys. :P
I wish I could afford the $70 option this time around, but the mug sounds awesome enough for me. :P Would have made a perfect 10 contributors. My idea might have been game-breaking anyway; a pair of dimensional scissors that can physically cut out a block of space. People get the extra space in pocket dimensional clothing from somewhere right? Could just cut the space around safe and sew it into a bag, and the weight of "space" would be less than the safe. :P
Sadly I doubt I'll ever get to actually play the game. None of my friends play roleplaying games, and I've never tried one, but I enjoyed reading the example scenario so much I knew I'd enjoy just reading the .pdf and supporting the project.
Creator APSmitty on March 20, 2012
TIME OVER!
Creator Seraphina Brennan on March 20, 2012
7k! OMG! I think I need to put up a few desktop wallpapers to celebrate this!
Creator Jared Trezise on March 20, 2012
Woo! $7,000! :P
By the time I post this someone else might have, looks like a backer of the $25 reward bumped theirs up to the $70 reward? (I'm guessing this because it totals $7,005, and I was considering doing the same thing, but I'm already backing so many kickstarter projects I'm going broke. :'(
Creator Stuart Coutts on March 20, 2012
I stumped my $160 up to $178.
Goddamn, i'm too poor for this.
...
We can make it!
$2 a minute, and we'll have time to spare!
Creator Jared Trezise on March 20, 2012
$58 left in 28 minutes :P
Quick, somebody find 58 people each with a spare $1 hiding in the cracks of their couch.
Creator Stuart Coutts on March 20, 2012
C'mon!
44 minutes for 7k!
LET'S DO THIS!
Creator Jared Trezise on March 20, 2012
Only $78 off of $7,000 :P
Should put up a simple $7,000 milestone reward to push any last people over the fence. :P
Just something like "If we reach $7,000 we'll release a desktop wallpaper of a laser cheese-grater." :P
Creator Stacey Miner on March 17, 2012
Goodies, goodies, goodies! So excited for you guys! Can't wait!
Creator Seraphina Brennan on March 15, 2012
Mutatons for everyone! (When they're released later this year. :D)
Creator Daniel Gonzalez on March 15, 2012
Sweet!
Creator Timothy W Seifert on March 15, 2012
Congratulations on hitting $5,000 with plenty of time to spare!
Creator Daniel Gonzalez on March 14, 2012
Agreed. Let's hit $5,000 to get those mutations going!
Creator The Lady Rae on March 13, 2012
Dear You Guys,
You are the first thing on all the Kickstarts that I have decided are worthy of my limited ducats. Please to be feeling awesome.
