SEE ROCK CITY & OTHER DESTINATIONS, the Drama Desk Award-winning musical by Brad Alexander and Adam Mathias, is a collection of short stories set at tourist destinations across America. It was developed in the Tony Award-winning BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop and NAMT Festival of New Musicals. After receiving its world premiere at Barrington Stage Company, it opened off-Broadway in a Transport Group Theatre Company production at the Duke Theatre on 42nd Street in 2010 and soon after was published by Samuel French. The show received the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Book as well as five additional nominations, the Richard Rodgers Award and the BMI Foundation Jerry Bock Award.
Our goal is a budget of $20,000—covering rehearsal, recording, mixing, mastering and the album’s release. Your contribution will not only go toward the creation of a permanent recording of this extraordinary cast and captivating orchestrations by Justin Hatchimonji. The cast album will be invaluable to the life of the show, enabling future productions large and small.
