ABOUT ME
Hello!
My Name is Sean Wood.
I Iive in Brooklyn, NY with my dog Holly Wood.

I'm about to release my first full-length LP, titled "Sudden Love."

WHAT IS “SUDDEN LOVE”?                                                                            I started writing the songs on this project about three years ago (after releasing my EP, “Cannonball”) and it has been a labor of love that I am very excited to share with you all. The songs on this record chronicle the love, loss, hope, pain, and joy I have experienced over the last three years—a very honest account. Not only is this music lyrically very honest, but it is a very true translation of my musical experience and taste. If Joni Mitchell, R. Kelly, Frank Ocean, and Andrew Bird, all got together and made a baby, it would probably look pretty weird, but sound a lot like the music from Sudden Love. 

WHO IS PRODUCING THE ALBUM?
For this project, I have been lucky enough to work with Grammy-winning producer/engineer Mario J. McNulty, whose credits include David Bowie, Prince, NIN, Lou Reed, Julian Lennon, The Raveonettes, Semi Precious Weapons, Laurie Anderson, and Angelique Kidjo (just to name a few).

WHY I NEED YOUR HELP
I have spent a good amount of money and time so far to make this record, but in order to spread the SUDDEN LOVE, I need to raise funds for promotion (including the filming of 2 music videos). This will help me share my music with as many people as I possibly can.

In the spirit is giving, once Sudden Love is released to the public, it will be available for a donation-based download, with no minimum donation necessary. If you are able to help now and not on the purchase of the album, that is SO ok. I want everyone to hear it. Free things are awesome!
