Work work
Hey everyone,
We have been a little quiet the past couple days but we have been very busy, our community manager (Kojiconlair) and I have been manually assigning forum permissions, and going over the survey data. Matt has been programming, and Kevin and Fernando have been doing artsy stuff (you guys should really like what they are working on!)
If you haven't yet, and wish to participate in the comunity through development please register on our forums. http://www.KineticVoid.com/forum If you don't have interest or time, then dont worry about it, we will notify you when the game is ready!
If you have already replied to the survey with your info, thank you very much, we are down to the last 700 or so users. If I had a problem with your username, or I didn't get a response I will be sending out an e-mail with info on it, just reply to it with your username and we will be all set.
Last bit of a mention, Id like to plug a couple other games that are still working on their Kickstarter, if you can, please consider giving them a little support!
Dead State
Dead State is a compelling, high-tension RPG set at the beginning of the zombie apocalypse. As society is beginning to fall apart, the player must organize allies, fortify a shelter, scout for food and supplies, and make uncertain alliances, attempting to hold together a group as humanity teeters on the brink of extinction. And although the zombies lurk as an ever present threat, the biggest obstacle to the player may just be other humans with the same goal: survival at any cost.
Skyjacker
Skyjacker is a first-person free-roaming space combat game with unique features rarely - or never - seen in other space games to date.
Skyjacker is based on the "Abyss Lights" book series written by our project lead, Eugene Zhukov. The player is the lone human in a galaxy of conflict - abducted by aliens, raised by pirates, wanted by privateers and mercenaries alike. You start on the bottom of the Pirate Stock Exchange and work your way up to the top, not by deliveries and fetch-quests, but through brutal missions like assassinations, sabotage, kidnapping, robberies, infiltration and extractions.
Edge of Space
Edge Of Space is a dynamic, open world sandbox survival adventure game. Where you build, create, mold, and work to survive and change the area around you. ON: PC/MAC
Edge of Space is about the journey of surviving in the deepest, darkest, weirdest, and possibly most interesting part of the known universe. How long have you been in cryo-sleep? No one really knows, and we doubt you will be thinking about that as you try to explore, scavenge, build, survive, and fight rocket-powered, cybernetically-enhanced laser sharks wanting to feed on you.
You can also follow me through Kickstarter to see the other projects I have backed. I have been, and will remain a support of Kickstarters

You have hardly been quiet since funding completed. I for one appreciate the continued contact you are keeping with those who made this a success. Thank you for pointing out other projects you find worthy of our attention.

I also find it great that other projects are being mentioned, it makes for an amazing community. As an enthusiastic backer of SKYJACKER I especially have to thank you for mentioning them. For all of those on the fence about that project, I urge you to give them a look, try the demo and see what they've got.

20/20 hindsight.. but it will still all get done in the end.
Oh, and I find it great that ppl are promoting other kickstarters in their updates... it really serves to create goodwill and a solid kickstarter community.

You could have set up your backer forum as Double Fine did. As you have all the backers e-mail address, as long as a forum member is registered with en e-mail account on that list, they could get access to the backers forum.
