For a Few Dollars More ...
We had a good weekend for the Abel and Cain Kickstarter Campaign. Lots of new pledges and now we're just a hair from our goal with (as I write this) just over 3 days to go.
So, backers, friends, fellow filmmakers, supporters, awesome generous people, can I ask for just a little more? You've generously pledged and helped us reach this point, how about $10 more?
You've been so generous. I mean that. Whether you gave us $1 or $250, you've been generous. All of us who are part of Abel and Cain appreciate it so much. It means a lot to get support from friends, family, and strangers. People who want to support art. People who just want to support us as people/artists. Whatever the reason. It means a lot that you support us.
Like many Kickstarter projects, though, our goal is really the minimum we need to make this movie happen. So, I'm asking, now that you've supported, to just put a few dollars more into the project. Ten dollars more. Let's make Abel and Cain more than just a successful Kickstarter project, let's make it one of those projects that exceeds its goal.
There are currently 77 backers. Ten dollars more from each of you puts us at over $4000. Nearly 120% funded.
What does that mean for the project, though? What can we do with more? We can take Abel and Cain to more festivals. We can invest more in the people involved and bring the production value up that much more. We can put it to use. We can make Abel and Cain that much more worthy of the support you've shown us.
Our goal of $3500 is covering basics. Helping us to exceed that goal is helping us to make a better film.
So, click that blue "Manage Your Pledge" button and add $10 to your pledge. Push Abel and Cain above and beyond 100%. Help us make this project even better.
Thanks again to all of you for all the support you've shown.
