A year ago today I posted this Kickstarter project. 11 months ago you awesome folks funded it. Happy Anniversary! 

Today I put the DVDs and Producer Packages + DVDs in the mail for you backers who selected those rewards. I literally just got home from loading them into a mailbox after backer Audacia Ray awesomely helped me avoid having to wait in line at the post office with some sort of magic postage thing she has for her own awesome things that are awesome.

I took pictures and everything (see below, they are filtered through the Instagram that's why they look so hip and sexy).

Most people who selected that reward level will be getting them in the mail in the next couple of weeks. I sent them Media Mail, hopefully it won't take them forever to get to you. Those folks who won't be getting them in the mail: 

  • People who still need to fill out the survey (check your inbox on Kickstarter, it's probably waiting there for you). I will deal with you folks once I hear from you. 
  • People who I will be hand delivering it to, because you told me to. 

Previously, I had said that my Alaska friends would have to wait until I am there in June. Well, it turns out Media Mail is a flat rate, so I went ahead and sent yours already. So, no waiting for you after all. 

Again, Happy Anniversary! I hope to have some updates on things like festivals and screenings very soon.

If you selected one of the backer rewards, a few moments ago you should have received a message from me via Kickstarter with a link to download the final cut of Abel and Cain. 

Please let me know if you have any problems with downloading it. 

The work's not done yet, though. I'll be keeping you updated as I get the DVDs together and assemble the Producers Package reward. Also, there's the joy(?) of festival submissions on the horizon. 

I'll keep you up to date on all of it.
