P.S. $25+ Supporters should have received their books weeks ago. If you haven't seen your book, then it must be lost in the postalverse. Message me!

Yep, got mine ages ago. In fact if you keep your eyes on the Indie column in Knights of the Inner Table, you might catch my review of it sometime around now. That might drive a few more sales your way!

Update #10: First Print Run is Complete

Posted on October 15, 2011

Hey everyone,

I just picked up the books from the printer. They look fantastic! I'm excited to (finally) get them out the door. The "Big Mailing Day" is Monday, so depending on where you are you should have the books within days.

I'll be posting PDF links to anyone in the $10+ contribution level by Monday as well.

Have a great weekend,

Scott

Should a dude in Louisiana be worried if he hasn't gotten his yet?

      Hey Thores,

Yeah, I think you should have received it by now. I got one book back (somebody else) whose address must have changed, so I imagine everyone in the US should have received it by now.

Could you email your mailing address to scott@scottlininger.com and I'll check my mailing records?

      Thanks,

      Scott

Update #9: We're off to the presses!

Posted on October 5, 2011

I'm happy to report that the final files have been sent to the printer. In the next 48 hours I should get a physical proof, and after that we're only a few days from shipping out everyone's books.

I'll also be posting the downloadable PDF just as soon as we get through the proofing process, so anyone with a $10 donation or higher will be able to get their exclusive digital version.

I've received address changes from a couple of people. If you've moved since I sent out the survey, please send me a message with your new info.

See attached for the "wraparound" layout of the book cover.

Cheers,

Scott

Update #8: Here's Some Artwork

Posted on September 28, 2011

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to post some of the new artwork I've been working on to reassure you that the project is still heavily underway. I've had some family stuff come up this month that's taken me out of state and away from my studio. Thanks for your patience! I'm loathe to commit to an exact date that I'll be mailing out books and PDFs, but my revised goal is to get everything out in early October.

Hope you like the new artwork. I know I've loved working on it. :)

Update #7: Still Working on the Books...

Posted on September 4, 2011

Hey everyone,

My original goal was the get the Children of Fire books mailed out by the end of August, but it's going to be a few more weeks before I'm there. With the combination of the book getting considerably longer (due to the Children of Clay expansion) and the opportunity to swap out some B&W illustrations for brand new, full color ones, I find I'm still working on it. Also, Erich wanted to do a complete revamp of the Children of Clay text and the character sheets.

Apologies for the delay! Once you get the thing in your hands I'm sure you'll appreciate the improvements.

Thanks again to everyone for your support. I'll get them out just as soon as I can. :)

I hope everyone had a great end of summer! Talk to you soon,

- Scott

      Scott,

That is not a problem. In fact it is an indicator of how much you want this to be perfect before you start sending it out to people. I would prefer it if you took an extra few weeks or even a month to get the best possible product out. I think the book will look lovely in colour.

      Regards

      Harry
