THE SAUCE BOSS
SINCE 1990, BILL "SAUCE BOSS" WHARTON HAS COOKED GUMBO FOR OVER 180,000 PEOPLE while simultaneously playing his original swampy Florida slide guitar blues. A Sauce Boss event transcends performance. It's a soul-shouting picnic of rock & roll brotherhood, involving everyone. And at the end of the show, everyone eats.
Im looking forward to this one! Getting back to the Bamboo Room anytime soon? Congrats to you, your band,Dale and Peach!
So you finally decided to bottle up some of that sizzle-in MoJo you been doing on stage and put it on a CD...Bout Time!!!!! Best ones are live. Looking forward to it. Your friendly editor at AARP,
Kevin.
Looking forward to hearing the CD. I was at some of those shows and know just how amazing the music was!
Can't wait to hear this recording! I was at 2 of those 3 shows. Bill, you and your band brought the house down! The gumbo was pretty damned good, too.
Go Bill Go! Good luck on the Live CD, I still love to see you live though. Have a great New Year & Can't wait to see this new guitbox in Orlando. Hugs to the Mrs. Your friends and #1 Fans in New Smyrna Beach. Rock on....
Thomas, we have served gumbo at the Ottawa Blues Festival, which is one of the largest festivals in North America. We have a big pot. We would love to play the Tampa Bay Blues Festival anytime. Put in a good word for us at the Tampa Bay Blues Fest.
Hmm, Day 2 and you're already almost halfway there...looking pretty good, Bill! Can't wait to see you showing off your new toy at the HOB in February! I know you already have a gig scheduled for Dauphin Island on April 15th, but it would be great to see you knock 'em dead at the Tampa Bay Blues Festival on the 13th or 14th...you'd need a pretty big pot, though! :)
Oh, Sauce Boss...you're so cute. I'm married to a guitar player and I understand instrument lust... My husband had a guitar like yours once and he traded it in for a banjo and electric bass. He wasn't married to me then or I would have stopped him.
Enjoy the guitar!
