Sat Naam, Namaste, Bonjour, and Hello!
Welcome to our kickstarter page! We are so excited to be able to share our music with you by Summer Solstice 2011. Our collaborative album has already begun to take shape, as we finish our last moments of "pre-production," and schedule recording time with talented musicians in the Greater New York area.
As musicians, producers, and sound engineers, there is a lot that we can do on our own. However, like most things in life, we cannot do everything on our own!
We are thankful to kickstarter for creating this platform through which we can involve our amazingly supportive community. Every contribution helps us get closer to making this album FOR YOU.

Our goal:
We are creating a vibrant, creative, meditative, and joyful collection of mantra music for listeners to enjoy in yoga classes, in their car, at home, and anywhere else it is calling to be played! Our release date will be Summer Solstice of 2011!

Sat Darshan & Sirgun started playing music together for Kundalini Yoga classes in Fall 2010. Sirgun Kaur is a kirtan artist, yogini and writer, who helps to organize Bhakti Fest in the spring and fall. Sat Darshan has shared the stage with chant artists such as Snatam Kaur, GuruGanesha Singh, SatKirin Kaur, and released his first chant album, "Sadhana in the City" last summer.
