Sarah is going to record her first album of original folk-jazz compositions with your help! The album is about love and life in Louisiana after the storm. Sarah's songs explore themes of reconnection through storytelling. Musically, she uses elements from folk tradition and New Orleans Jazz.

She needs $7,000 for studio time, paying her band, mixing and mastering the disc. The disc will be recorded at Wunder Studios in New Orleans in December and produced by Ingrid Lucia.

Breakdown of Budget

3 days in the Studio: $1,000

Mixing and Mastering: $3,500

Paying 7 Musicians: $3,000

Pressing & Packaging, Album Art, and Paying Producer are expenses not included in the $7,000 goal, so we hope to make even more!

It will take about $11,000 to make it happen.
