Albuquerque Sky features 14 of my most honest songs yet. It's a record that'll take you on an intimate emotional, spiritual journey.
Albuquerque Sky is already well under way! In fact the recording process is pretty close to being done. Back in early September of 2011 I invested in some portable recording gear that has allowed me to record most of this record from any location and time frame that works with my schedule. This has been a huge help in allowing me to work from the road (considering I've been home less than 4 days out of 2012 so far). Home studios are also becoming the most cost affective way to record albums, saving loads of money on renting studio time and hiring engineers to do the job you can easily learn to do yourself.
I've had a donation button set up on my website since December which has raised around $1,750 for the project thus far. That money has been used to hire musicians to perform on the album. Now it's time for the big stuff.
Mixing, mastering, and duplication are the next step in this process, and I'm looking to raise $6,000 in 30 days to help with those costs.
Albuquerque Sky has a total of 14 new songs. They are a collection of songs I've written in the last year and a half that commemorate my journey of healing and growth since I've been touring full time. Here's the list (in no particular order):
