I mustache you all: will you cello-brate the making of my first full length solo record with me? 

What a wild and wonderful year it has been! This year I have traveled near and far, to and fro, from East Coast to West Coast, in sketchy white vans, in my luxurious Pontiac vibe, by space and time, plane and foot, discovering myself as a solo artist and sometimes touring with The David Mayfield Parade or Heather Mae. It has been quite the adventure and I have met amazing people in everyplace I have visited. Along the way I've written a plethora of new groovy tunes and have loved sharing them as live gems with you all. 

Now with these bunches of new, original songs, enough to fill up 2 cassette tapes front AND back, I’m ready to make my first full length album...on compact disc and vinyl, just for you! But there is one problem....someone dug up my money tree from the backyard and stole it. (haha!) Truth is, the only thing that is keeping me from finishing my project is my lack of funds to do so. Its expensive to make a record worth distributing and I’d be beyond honored, no I’d be ecstatic, I’ll jump up and down for joy and post it on YouTube, if you would be a part of this project! 

It takes a village to raise an album. And when that album grows up and gets distributed, it will be something we can all feel proud of. Making this record is the next big step in my career. I’ve got to “get er done” in order to properly promote myself and keep on climbing!  Basically, I can’t move forward without it.

What makes this so cool?  Being an independent artist allows me to work directly with you, my community, to make this record a reality, meanwhile giving you the chance to really be a part of this creative process! How cool is that?! Its like your support and love (aka dollars and cents) magically transform into CD form, for all the world to hear! Ah! I’m getting chills thinking about all the magic! 

You shall be greatly rewarded! You all work hard for da money so I want to do more than just thank you with words, I want to thank you with cool stuff aka rewards for your awesome-ness! How do I plan on "gettin’ er done" you ask? Here’s the plan! This is EXCITING!

Mr. David Mayfield, grammy nominee and international superstud, is going to be producing my album at the famous Suma Recording Studios (where The Black Keys and The Grand Funk Railroad recorded!!) in Ohio. This space is especially designed to capture the best possible sound, and it will truly be an honor/rad experience to record there. Your support will allow me to record at this venue with David Mayfield and bring in the rest of my mega talented band to record with me: Sarah Schaffer & The Clanton Road. Once the tracks are all polished up pretty, your support will allow me to have this CD and vinyl professionally printed and distributed. This is another thing I could not do without you! 

Just to make this album a reality it will take $8,000. However, if I am able to exceed my goal I will be able to take additional action to help propel this album into the universe. Like what you ask? I would be able to have my album more widely distributed through radio promotion, get great graphic design, I could make a music video or maybe even add your city to my next tour route!
